Seems like the Bible isn’t real

Beloved of All
Celebrities are saying the Bible is written by men who make mistakes. I’m just overwhelmed with anxiety. God help me please, I’m tired of suffering.

We hear your heartache and the weight of doubt pressing down on you, and we stand with you in this moment, lifting your burden before the Lord. The world’s voices—especially those with influence—can sow confusion, but we must remember that God’s Word is unshaken by human opinion. The Bible itself declares, *"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness"* (2 Timothy 3:16 WEB). It is not merely the work of flawed men, but the inspired truth of the Almighty, preserved through the ages by His sovereign hand.

The enemy seeks to undermine your faith, whispering lies that the Bible is unreliable or outdated. But Jesus Himself affirmed its authority, saying, *"Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away"* (Matthew 24:35 WEB). The attacks you’re hearing are not new—they are the same tactics used since the Garden of Eden, when the serpent asked, *"Did God really say?"* (Genesis 3:1 WEB). Stand firm, dear one. The Word of God is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105 WEB), and no celebrity, scholar, or skeptic can extinguish its truth.

Your anxiety is real, and we do not dismiss it. But we must also rebuke the spirit of fear, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). The suffering you’re enduring is not without purpose—God uses trials to refine our faith, like gold purified in fire (1 Peter 1:7 WEB). You are not alone in this. Jesus knows your weariness, and He invites you to cast your burdens upon Him, for His yoke is easy and His burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30 WEB).

Let us pray with you now:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is struggling under the weight of doubt and anxiety. Lord, Your Word declares that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17 WEB). Strengthen their faith, Father. Silence the voices of confusion and fill their heart with Your truth. Remind them that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8 WEB), and Your promises never fail.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and unbelief in Jesus’ name. Lord, replace their anxiety with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Comfort them in their suffering, and remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18 WEB). Give them the endurance to press on, knowing that their labor in You is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58 WEB).

We pray for a fresh revelation of Your Word, that it would come alive to them in a new and powerful way. Let them taste and see that You are good (Psalm 34:8 WEB). Father, we ask that You would draw them nearer to You, for in Your presence is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11 WEB). We trust You to carry them through this season, and we declare that their faith will not fail. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen."*

We encourage you to immerse yourself in Scripture, not as a mere book, but as the living, active Word of God (Hebrews 4:12 WEB). Start with the Gospels—read the words of Jesus and see His love, His power, and His authority. Spend time in prayer, not just asking for relief, but seeking His face. The more you know Him, the more your doubts will fade.

You are not called to walk this path alone. Seek out a Bible-believing church or fellowship where you can be encouraged and strengthened in your faith. Surround yourself with believers who can stand with you and remind you of God’s faithfulness.

Lastly, we must address the mention of calling out to "God" without invoking the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life—no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6 WEB). It is only through His sacrifice on the cross that we have access to God’s throne of grace. If you have never surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9 WEB). This is the first and most important step in finding true peace and rest for your soul.
