There are two issues here, Spiritual truth and your current relationship issues.
1. Relationships - I'm not an expert, but I can tell you that people do not change over time. What you experienced yesterday will continue and your bf will continue to exhibit the same violent and sick tendencies throughout his life. If you like this type of danger and drama, stay. If not, leave quickly.
2. Spiritual Truth - I am a Christian and I'm in a great relationship with God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. To enter into relationship with God requires 4 parts, like the legs of a strong chair:
a) Prayer - the foundation. Prayer is any kind of communication between you and God. You start this like any human relationship by talking to God either out loud or in your head. In time, God will answer your questions in your mind, and your two-way communication will begin.
b) the Bible - start reading Matthew in the New Testament and read one chapter a day slowly. Be faithful to read every day. When you don't understand a verse, go to Google and say, what does Matthew chapter 2 verse 3 mean, and you will start to learn. Also, buy a study Bible which will have notes to explain.
c) Church - find a church, get involved and surround yourself with Christians who can show you the way.
d) Repentance - stop committing the sins you are currently committing. God detests sin. You will not always succeed, but you can always try to be righteous, and in time you will improve by the Holy Spirit who dwells in you. You can start by trying to eliminate sexual sin from your life.
To God be the Glory!
