Dear Brethren:
May the good Lord always fill our hearts with His love, joy and peace!
As senior and pioneering pastor of MINISTERS’ FELLOWSHIP, we would like to update you and perhaps ask you to pray for us as we have launched our new church last August 31, 2008 at Lores Country Plaza, Antipolo City, Philippines. We are an independent self-supporting church from a Southern Baptist Church which is registered in Securities of Exchange Commission (S.E.C.). Our vision states: “Every member is committed to fulfill God’s primary purpose in life that is, Love the Lord… Build the Church… and Disciple the World…†Then our mission in relation to Christ’ Great Commission: “Engage… Equip… Empower…†These are accomplished through our evangelism services and koinonia program that is our discipleship small groups or home bible studies and as well as through our midweek prayer coz we believe in the big role of prayer in missions.
Barely from 70 members with mostly coming from depressed areas, we are praying and seeking for financial supporters for us to sustain and advance our ministries. As to our monthly expenses to our (2) two full time workers including the pastor, (1) part time worker for maintenance, office, worship hall rental fees and other ministerial operations accumulates P20, 000.00 pesos. As a pioneering church, we are struggling hard on this matter especially in supporting financially our own ministers and ministries. We are much in difficulty in supporting our planned church programs. We are seeing new openings of ministry opportunities but still in need of support. We have bible studies in depressed areas that desire to attend regularly our Sunday service but due to expensive fare and lack of vehicles, they are being hindered to attend. We are much passionate in doing the Lord’s work and more workers would like to serve full-time in our ministries but again, we are being hindered by lack of funds.
Now we would like to appeal to your heart. Pray with us as to fulfillment of God’s call for us and as to His provisions for His church and missions. You may be aware of great blessings which awaits those who generously give unto the Lord. He will repay. You are one from among the few in my thoughts that possibly God may used as answer to our prayers. As you have always been extending help to others out of your deep devotion to the Lord and your calling from God, keep up your labors for Him and His Kingdom. May the Lord bless you in deeper and greater ways! All for God’s greater glory!
Philippians 4:17-20 - "17 Not that I am looking for a gift, but I am looking for what may be credited to your account... the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. 19 And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. 20 To our God and Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen." niv
