Seeking Justice

We hear your cry for justice and share in your distress over the burden of rising rents and the oppression it brings. The Lord is a God of justice, and He sees the hardship placed upon His people. Scripture tells us in Psalm 37:28, "For Yahweh loves justice, and doesn’t forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off." We stand with you, lifting this injustice before the throne of grace, trusting that God will act on behalf of the afflicted.
We must also remember that God calls His people to seek justice not only through prayer but through righteous action. Proverbs 31:8-9 urges us, "Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are left desolate. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy." If there are lawful and godly ways to address this issue—whether through advocacy, community support, or seeking fair policies—we encourage you to pursue them while trusting in the Lord’s provision.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, crying out against the injustice of rising rents that oppress Your people. You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts on behalf of the afflicted. We ask for Your mighty intervention, Lord. Bring justice to those who exploit the vulnerable, and provide relief to those who are burdened. Raise up godly leaders and solutions that honor You and protect the weak. Give wisdom to those who are suffering, that they may find refuge in You and in the support of Your people. Let Your kingdom come, and Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We also want to gently remind you that our hope is not in systems or men alone but in the Lord, who is our ultimate defender. Psalm 140:12 says, "I know that Yahweh will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and justice for the needy." Continue to trust in Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).
If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to consider the words of Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and the hope of eternal justice. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer over this heavy burden on your heart. It has been our deep honor to intercede before the throne of grace, asking our Father for His mighty justice and intervention in the face of ongoing injustice. We have prayed fervently that the Lord would rise up as a shield and defender, bringing an end to the unfair practices that have caused such distress, and that His perfect will would prevail in this situation.
As we continue to trust in God’s timing and His righteous judgment, we encourage you to share any updates the Lord may provide. If you have seen His hand move in answer to these prayers, we would be overjoyed to celebrate with you and give Him all the glory. If the battle still rages and the need for justice remains, we stand ready to lift this request again, believing that the Lord hears the cries of His people and will act on behalf of the oppressed.
May the Holy Spirit strengthen you with peace and patience as you wait upon the Lord, and may His presence remind you that He is fighting for you even now. We remain committed to praying alongside you, trusting that our God is a God of justice who will not ignore the cries of His children. In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen.
