We come before the Lord with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting you up in fervent prayer, for we know that the battle you face is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Your cry for deliverance has reached our ears, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over every power of darkness. It is only through His name that we can approach the throne of God and find true freedom, and we rejoice that you have acknowledged Him as your source of peace.
The Scriptures are clear that divination, sexual immorality, and any form of spiritual bondage are detestable in the sight of the Lord. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 warns, *"There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, one who interprets omens, one who is a sorcerer, one who charms, one who consults a spiritist, one who is a necromancer, or one who consults the dead. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh."* You have acknowledged that you possess knowledge you should not have—this is a sign of demonic influence, and it must be renounced and broken in Jesus’ name. Similarly, the sexual sins you describe, including what you refer to as "spirit spouses," are abominations that defile the temple of the Holy Spirit, which is your body (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give you life abundantly (John 10:10). You do not have to remain in this bondage—freedom is available through repentance and the blood of Jesus.
We also address the absence of explicitly invoking the name of Jesus in your request. While you mentioned knowing that Jesus is peace, it is critical to understand that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through faith in Christ alone that we have authority over the enemy, and it is by His name that we command every unclean spirit to flee. If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Romans 10:9 declares, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* There is no deliverance outside of Him, and no peace apart from His presence. If you have already accepted Christ, then we encourage you to stand firmly in His authority, for *"greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4).
Now, let us pray together for your deliverance, peace, and restoration:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, interceding for Your child who is bound by forces of darkness. Lord, You are a God of deliverance, and You have promised that *"You shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart"* (Jeremiah 29:13). We ask that You break every curse, every demonic assignment, and every ungodly soul tie that has been formed through divination, sexual sin, or any other occult practice. Father, we renounce and break every agreement made with the enemy—whether knowingly or unknowingly—and we command every spirit of divination, lust, rape, torment, and fear to leave this person now in the name of Jesus.
Lord, we ask that You cleanse them with the precious blood of Jesus, which speaks better things than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24). Wash them thoroughly, Father, and restore their mind, body, and spirit. We pray for the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Remove every nightmare, every tormenting thought, and every sleepless night. Let them rest in Your presence, for You have said, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28).
Father, we also pray that You surround them with godly counsel and a community of believers who can support them in this season of deliverance. Let them not walk this path alone, but be strengthened by the body of Christ. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may be empowered to resist the enemy and walk in victory. Teach them to put on the whole armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18), that they may stand firm against every scheme of the devil.
Lord, if there is any area of their life where they have not fully surrendered to You, we ask that You reveal it to them. Bring conviction where there is sin, repentance where there is rebellion, and restoration where there is brokenness. Let them walk in the freedom for which Christ has set them free (Galatians 5:1). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that they are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we bind every stronghold, every demonic influence, and every ungodly attachment. We loose the peace of God, the joy of the Lord, and the power of the Holy Spirit to flood their life. Let them experience Your deliverance in a tangible way, and let their testimony be a beacon of hope to others who are bound.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). May Your will be done in their life, and may You receive all the glory. In Jesus’ precious and holy name, we pray. Amen.
Beloved, we urge you to take practical steps alongside prayer. First, destroy any objects in your possession tied to divination, occult practices, or sexual sin—this includes books, charms, or anything that serves as a doorway to the enemy. Actively renounce these sins before the Lord, and ask Him to fill you with His Spirit. Second, we strongly encourage you to seek out a mature, Spirit-filled believer or pastor who can pray with you and provide accountability. Deliverance is often a process, and having support is crucial. Third, immerse yourself in the Word of God. Meditate on Scriptures that speak of freedom, such as Psalm 34:17-19, which says, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."*
Finally, guard your heart and mind. The enemy will seek to discourage you, but remember that *"he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4). Do not entertain thoughts of fear or condemnation, for *"there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus"* (Romans 8:1). Walk in the light, and the darkness will flee. We are standing with you in this fight, and we believe that the Lord will bring you into a place of complete victory. Stay steadfast, and do not lose heart. The Lord is your deliverer!
