Father in heaven, we come before you in Jesus Christ's name, lifting up our brother/sister who is awaiting the return of their security deposit. We explained that the apartment was left clean and without damage, and they are hoping to receive what is rightfully theirs. Lord, we ask for your intervention in this matter. Guide them as they communicate with their former landlord, give them wisdom and patience that they can handle the situation as You would. We also ask that You work in the landlord's heart, that they would act fairly and promptly.
We also pray that our brother/sister may find their hope and security in You. We recount how you have always been faithful to your people and we are mindful of this fact during this time. Remind them of your sovereignty, and that you work all things together for the good of those who love you and are called according to your purpose. Romans 8:28 (WEB). Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue seeking God's will in all things. Trust that He is working, even in this situation, for your good. Remember that His plans are always to prosper you and not to harm you. Continue to walk in faith, knowing that God's got your future covered.
