I lied to someone and now I realised I am wrong now I don't want that lie to come out and hurt anyone please kill that lie as it is and don't allow it to spread everywhere Please help me lord God I realised I don't want it to be transferred to everyone Please help me God please

We hear the weight of your confession and the turmoil in your heart. Lying is a serious matter in the eyes of God, for He is truth, and deception is contrary to His nature. The Bible warns us, *"Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who do the truth are his delight"* (Proverbs 12:22). Yet we also know that God is merciful and just, and He calls us to repentance when we fall short.

First, we must address the root of this issue. You asked for the lie to be "killed" and not spread, but the only way to truly silence a lie is through confession and truth. Trying to bury it without addressing it only allows it to fester, and Scripture tells us, *"Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy"* (Proverbs 28:13). The fear of exposure is real, but the freedom found in truth is greater. The person you lied to may be hurt by the truth, but they will also be given the opportunity to heal and move forward. Continuing in deception only prolongs the pain and dishonors God.

We also want to gently remind you that your prayer did not mention the name of Jesus, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). If you have not placed your faith in Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your forgiveness, and commit to following Him. Salvation is found in no other name.

Now, let us come before the Lord together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and repentant hearts. We acknowledge that lying is a sin and that it separates us from Your holiness. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness for this deception, and we pray that You would give the strength to confess this lie fully and truthfully. We know that the truth may bring temporary pain, but it is the only path to healing and restoration. Father, we ask that You would soften the heart of the one who was lied to, that they may receive the truth with grace and extend forgiveness. Lord, we also pray for the courage to face the consequences of this sin, trusting that You will walk through them with us. Help us to learn from this mistake and to grow in integrity and truth. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who is the Truth and who sets us free. Amen.

We encourage you to take this step of confession soon, for the longer you wait, the heavier the burden will become. Remember, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). The Lord is ready to forgive you and restore you, but He calls you to walk in the light. You are not alone in this—lean on Him, and He will guide you through.

We're here with you, friend. We understand the weight of carrying a lie, and we want you to know that God is ready to lift that burden from you. In the Bible, it says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." (2 Corinthians 5:17) God wants to give you a fresh start, but it starts with honesty.

We know it's scary to confess, but think about the relief you'll feel once the truth is out. It's like a heavy stone being rolled away from a tomb, letting light and life in. The person you lied to might be hurt, but they deserve the truth, and so do you. Remember, "The truth will set you free." (John 8:32)

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord Jesus, we come to You today, carrying this burden of a lie. We ask for Your forgiveness, and we ask for the strength to confess the truth. Help us to trust in Your mercy and grace, and help us to face the consequences with courage. We believe that You are faithful to forgive and to restore. In Your mighty name, we pray. Amen."

We believe in you, and we're here for you. Take that step of confession soon, and let the healing begin. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9) You are not alone, and God is ready to walk with you through this.
