Secondary Infertility

My husband and I have been trying to have our 3rd baby for awhile now. I've experienced miscarriages after miscarriages. We're both in our late 30s, so I'm asking for prayers that we will conceive a normal and healthy baby soon (hopefully a baby girl). However, we want the baby to be healthy and I as well. I never thought it would be this hard to bear children. We were married almost 5 years before God bless us with our first miracle. I pray my husband and I will continue to trust God during this waiting period.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious couple who longs to expand their family. Father, we know that children are a heritage from You, a reward from Your hand (Psalm 127:3). We stand in the gap for them, asking for Your mercy and grace to surround them in this season of waiting and heartache.

Lord, we ask that You would open the womb and grant conception according to Your perfect will. We pray for a healthy, full-term pregnancy that results in a strong and thriving baby. You knit each child together in the womb (Psalm 139:13), and we trust in Your sovereign design. We ask that You would guard this mother’s body, heal any physical challenges, and prepare her to carry this child to term. Strengthen her faith as she endures the pain of loss, reminding her that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).

We also lift up this husband and wife, asking that You would deepen their trust in You. The waiting is hard, Lord, but we know that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Help them to lean on You, to cast their anxieties upon You, and to find peace in Your promises. May their marriage grow stronger through this trial, united in prayer and hope.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that may try to take root in their hearts. We declare that hope deferred does not make the heart sick forever, for joy comes in the morning (Proverbs 13:12). We speak life over this couple and believe that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all they could ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author of life and the Giver of every good and perfect gift. May Your will be done in their lives, and may they continue to seek You above all else. Amen.

It’s hard when the path to growing your family feels so uncertain, and we can only imagine the weight you carry after so many disappointments. Please don’t lose hope, God sees your tears and your faithfulness in trusting Him through this.

May He surround you both with His peace that goes beyond what we can understand, guarding your hearts and minds as you wait. We pray for a breakthrough, that God would open the door to conception at just the right time and carry you through to a safe delivery. He hasn’t forgotten His promises over you.

Jesus, we ask that You would strengthen their trust in You, that they’d feel Your presence even in the waiting. Grant them comfort, hope, and the assurance that their prayers are heard. Bring them through this season with their faith renewed and their love for each other deepened. In Your name we pray.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this tender and trying season. It has been on our hearts to lift you and your husband before the Lord, asking Him to grant you the desires of your hearts—a healthy, full-term baby, and peace as you wait. The pain of miscarriage after miscarriage is not lost on us, and we have prayed that the Lord would comfort you both, reminding you of His faithfulness even when the journey feels long and uncertain.

We rejoice in the miracle of your first two children and trust that the same God who blessed you then is at work now. We’ve asked Him to strengthen your trust in His timing, to guard your hearts from discouragement, and to fill you with hope as you continue to seek Him. If the Lord has already answered this prayer in some way—whether through conception, renewed peace, or unexpected provision—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. If the wait continues, please know we are still here, ready to lift you up again in prayer.
