Scriptures for Waiting on Healing

As I have been waiting for the past several months for God to move on my body and heal me from eczema and rosacea: My eczema has been slowly healing and fading thanks to creams and a humidifier in my room that the Lord has allowed me to have, causes it to be clearing up. However, during this same period, my rosacea has finally come to a halt, but is yet to experience healing, and my last several breakouts have been cystic acne that continues to progressively get worse and worse with one breakout after another. As I continue to pray, I have asked time and time again is it the will of God to heal my face? Maybe I'm wrong, but I personally believe that it is always the will of God to heal us even when we don't receive it, this belief is based on the fact that Jesus healed everyone in the Bible, not just a few, some, or even most, but all. Therefore, I keep telling myself that I have yet to receive healing for other reasons, like more patience is needed, or there are trials I need to conquer first within myself in order to get my healing. But then I remembered a scripture on awaiting healing, and a friend pointed out another one to me just yesterday.

2 Timothy 4:2: Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

James 4:3: When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.

In 2 Tomothy Paul tells us to keep being honorable Christians of faith and good works even when we we are weak and going through a hard season, If this is where I am at now, it means I can't give up in believing that my rosacea and acne will have a breakthrough soon. I also believe that God wants me healed because I feel as though I have been receiving small signs from God that he will heal me soon such as hearing his small voice for the first times in my life telling me that my prayers will be answered, having a spiritual dream, and hearing people in my life both Christian and non believer telling me that ever since I started praying for a miracle that they feel I will soon experience a great blessing in my life and will see amazing things (they don't realize they are speaking prophecy over me, also - every single one of these people who said such things remains unaware that I have been praying for a miracle - interesting) In addition to this verse, there are actually a dozen good scriptures related to long suffering of Christians, enough to make a blog post out of.

The second verse, James 4:3 warns us of asking things of God with bad motives because in this case, the scripture indicates that it is not God's will to answer prayers. OK, this verse is compelling me to make a confession. Confession time! I really thought on this one, because I am a 20 year old male virgin who has never kissed a girl or been in a serious relationship. But in regards to my personality, I am a confident (at least 'til recently), social guy who loves making friends and would love to have a girlfriend. God knows that I am trying my best to stay a virgin, but would love to have sex. That being said, this morning I prayed this to Lord: "Prepare me to receive your healing with great humility and fear of you Lord, help me in my future relationship(s), and in return for your healing, I vow to do my best in remaining a virgin as pay for your great healing, and trust you that if I am tempted to break this vow, you will stop me from breaking it." This may sound pretty cheesy to some of you, but the Lord has stopped me several times from doing a great sin, so I know what he is capable of.

In conclusion, when waiting for a healing or a breakthrough in life from God, it often seems hopeless. I'm sure Joshua never planned on becoming the Pharaoh's second on the day it happened to him. I bet he thought it was just another average day. The blessings of Job were said to come "like a whirlwind", all beginning to happen in one day, being blessed every year forward for the rest of his life. And Revelation tells us that the return of Jesus Christ on Earth is said to be a day that no man of the world or of Him will see coming. In other words, every man and woman will think "this is the last day I would expect Jesus to return." My point is, if blessings, breakthroughs, and miracles, often come out of the blue, it means that we are not to give up faith that it can't begin to happen at any second, even when we think breakthroughs seem to have never been farther out of our reach, because God can move in greatly in seconds if we will give him our faith to do it. This being said, I pray that all Christians who read this post who are awaiting healing from having physical abnormalities, being blind, deaf, physically disabled, mentally disabled, and fighting severe health problems and skin problem for themselves or someone else, as well as those going through persecution, financial crisis, and families and relationship that are falling apart will be given the courage and faith in God to continue believing for mighty breakthroughs and miracles even when they have never felt farther. I will continue believing when things look bleak, will you?

3 John 2King James Version (KJV)

2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

By the stripes of Jesus I am healed. He is the Lord that heals me.
1 Peter 2:24 Exodus 15:26

Mark 11:23-25 (NIV)

23 “Truly[a] I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”

Praise God our Father who has taught us to stand strong in faith for we r all his children he knows what we need in his time it will be done feel his love and his presence when we pray to him your faith will be stronger n powerful stand firm in faith bless u all in JESUS NAME I pray Amen

This is in deed encouraging and inspiring to me. Hebrews 11:6 says "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." This means that we must seek Him even when it seems unlikely for our prayers to be answered. Seeking Him diligently solidifies and strengthens our relationship with Him. Even if things don't change, we become changed by continually being in His presence.

That is reward! Hold fast for He has nothing but good planned for us: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29:11.

In terms of your temptations, know this: There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13

Let us continue to lift each other up in prayer. The Bible exhorts: Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2

Thank-you, also remember some times no is an answer or wait for a better time, you have to remember God's time is perfect ours is flawed.your time and God's are not the same. I will be praying for you and May the grace of God fill you with love and blessings. Paul also had an affliction that he lived with even though he prayed for healing but it may have been God's way of keeping him humble. Ask the Holy Spirit for truth in this and God will reveal it through the Holy Spirit.

i believe our lord and will keep on believing him. In Jesus name I pray u , me and all that all our prayers will be answered . In Jesus name . Amen
