Naysayers, slanderers, coughers and clappers alike: Foolishness will not change the outcome of God's promise of healing and blessing on the lives of others through His chosen vessel.
God chooses the vessel, not man. Why? Because man is fallible. We make decisions based on the outward appearance: God looks at the heart, which is the Spirit of man.
God will not be mocked. We can not trick or force a blessing out of God; our attempt to do so will only affect the outcome of our own blessing. Nevertheless, we will not make a liar out of God. Blessing is part of our inheritance. Therefore, because it's already promised God will deliver on that promise. However, when we choose deceitful (lying, arrogant, scoffing) means by which to get our blessing, this is what God promises "I have polluted mine inheritance and given them into thine hands."
As part of my calling, I want to see everyone blessed. But, as with all things of God, there is order. Profanity, foolishness and filth have no place in God's presence. For how should His name be profaned?
REVERENCE, HUMILITY and BELIEF is the order for God's favor. Amen!
Footnote: Lamentations, like several other books of the bible, is detail of that which is outlined through prophesy in Isaiah.
Sometimes It's good to know the whole story. Bits and pieces can be taken out of context. God does not tell us to scoff but the Father knows His children. He says it's His doing, not in that He approves of scoffing, but because, in anger, His back is turned. Much like wayward children, when a parents back is turned, we tend to act up.
DON'T MESS UP YOUR BLESSING
(Nevertheless, if a man be ignorant, let him be ignorant)
