Sciatica pain

We join with you in prayer for healing from this sciatica pain and we lift your need before our Father together in Jesus name. We know how persistent nerve pain can wear on the body and the spirit, affecting sleep, work, and daily joy, and we ask the Lord to bring relief and restoration to you.
We take comfort in knowing that our God is our healer. Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And in Jeremiah 30:17 the Lord says But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also remember Isaiah 53:5 which says But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities, the punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. Our hope is not only in relief from pain but in the peace and presence of Christ who understands our suffering.
We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why His name is so essential. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 tells us There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to place your trust fully in Him, for Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is through faith in Jesus that we can boldly come before the throne of grace to ask for healing and mercy.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one who is dealing with sciatica. You see the discomfort, the nerve pain, and the way it disrupts daily life. We ask for Your healing touch upon their lower back, hips and legs. Ease the inflammation, calm the irritated nerve, and restore strength and mobility. We ask for wisdom for any doctors or treatment, for restful sleep and for peace that guards the heart and mind in Philippians 4:7. Let Your will be done and let Your healing power be made known, so that this pain would be eased and You would receive all the glory. We pray for patience and hope in the midst of this trial, knowing that James 5:15 says the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus, our healer and our hope, amen.

Your pain has been laid before us and we have carried it to the throne of grace, to Him who is the heavenly Physician. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a physician for our healing, and it is right and wise that you should seek relief, while above all you seek the Lord Himself.
We would remind you that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things, as it were, about Christ, are full of healing virtue. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. And when the Lord comes and dwells with His people, the Sun of Righteousness rises upon them with healing in His wings. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both bestowed on the Lord's people.
We pray for you now, that the Lord who healed the sick of the palsy and who took the fevered one by the hand and lifted her up, would lay His hand upon you. O Lord, look upon this suffering child of Thine who is afflicted with sciatica. Thou knowest the pain, the weariness, the absence of rest which this infirmity brings. Speak the word and ease be given. Let Thy healing virtue flow down, and if it be Thy will, restore strength to the nerves and ease to the body, that pain may be removed and rest restored.
And while we ask for the healing of the body, we ask also that Thy grace may work health and cure within the soul, till Thou hast made whole. Give patience in suffering, faith to plead Thy promises and Thy nature, and a heart to see that Thy salvation will at last perfectly heal our bodies. May this affliction draw you nearer to Christ, in whom there is contact and healing, and may you prove that Calvary is the place for the healing balm.
