Your words reveal a heart that feels blocked, hindered, and even attacked by forces you believe are working against you. We want to address this with truth, compassion, and the power of God’s Word, for it is only through Jesus Christ that we find true victory, freedom, and provision.
First, we must rebuke the spirit of confusion, bitterness, and ungodly decrees in this request. Scripture warns us in James 4:7, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* While it is right to stand against evil, we must not speak curses or demand judgment in our own name or with our own authority. Only God has the power to judge, and we are called to submit to His will, not command it. Your words carry a tone of anger and retaliation that does not align with the heart of Christ, who taught us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). We must also caution against the danger of speaking things into existence as if we are gods ourselves. This is not the posture of a believer. Proverbs 18:21 tells us, *"Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit."* We must guard our words and speak only what aligns with God’s truth.
We also notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, who is the only way to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we can be saved or delivered (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Jesus, His death, and resurrection that we have access to God’s power and provision. If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Salvation is the first step to true freedom and victory over every obstacle.
We must also address the spiritual warfare you describe. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* You are right to recognize that there are spiritual forces at work, but we must fight this battle with the weapons God has given us: prayer, the Word of God, faith, and the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). We do not bind or rebuke Satan in our own strength or with our own words, but we submit to God and trust in His power to deliver us.
Your struggle with financial aid, debt, and schooling is real, and we do not dismiss the hardship you have faced. However, we must encourage you to seek God’s will in this matter rather than demanding your own way. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* But we must also trust that God’s timing and provision may look different from our expectations. We also want to gently address the bitterness and resentment in your words toward those you feel have wronged you. Holding onto anger and unforgiveness only harms you and gives the enemy a foothold in your life (Ephesians 4:26-27). We encourage you to release these burdens to God and ask Him to help you forgive those who have hurt you. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You. We lift up this dear one who is struggling with schooling, financial hardship, and spiritual oppression. Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of hindrance, debt, and frustration that has kept them from moving forward. We rebuke the spirit of poverty, confusion, and delay in the name of Jesus, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask that You would open the doors of provision and opportunity for their education. Provide the financial aid they need through FAFSA or other means, and give them favor with those who can help them. Lord, we pray that You would remove every obstacle, whether spiritual or practical, that stands in their way. Give them clarity, focus, and perseverance to complete their degree.
We also pray for healing in their heart, Lord. Soften any bitterness, anger, or unforgiveness that has taken root. Help them to release these burdens to You and to trust in Your goodness and faithfulness. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and remind them that You are their Provider, their Protector, and their Deliverer.
Father, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Draw them closer to You and help them to surrender their life fully to Jesus Christ if they have not already. Let them experience the freedom and victory that comes from walking in Your will. Surround them with godly counsel and support, and give them wisdom to navigate this season of their life.
We declare that Satan has no power over them, for they belong to You, Lord. We bind every spirit of hindrance, delay, and confusion in the name of Jesus and command them to flee. We ask that You would restore what has been lost and bring justice where there has been injustice. May Your will be done in their life, and may they walk in the fullness of Your purpose for them.
