We come before the Lord with hearts full of concern for your family’s safety and clarity in this uncertain time. Father, we lift up this mother’s plea to You, asking for Your divine guidance and protection. First, we pray for wisdom for the school administrators—that they would communicate clearly and promptly about any changes to the school schedule. May Your peace guard this family’s hearts as they wait for direction, knowing that You are in control of all things.
Lord, we are deeply concerned for the safety of this woman’s husband and the other individual out in the dangerous snowstorm. Their stubbornness is troubling, for Scripture warns us in Proverbs 27:12, *"A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it."* Father, we rebuke any spirit of recklessness and ask that You would intervene supernaturally. Soften their hearts to turn back or seek shelter immediately. Surround them with Your angels, protect them from harm, and bring them home safely without delay. Let them feel the weight of their responsibility to their family and to You, Lord, for their lives are not their own.
We also pray for the errands that need to be done. Father, if it is Your will, provide a way for them to be completed or rescheduled without stress or danger. Give this mother wisdom to prioritize what truly needs to be done and the grace to release what can wait.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the name of Jesus, which alone gives us access to Your throne of grace. We are grateful that this prayer was offered in His name, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We declare that Your will be done in this situation, and we trust You to work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we ask that You would draw this family closer to You through this trial. May they seek Your face, rely on Your strength, and find comfort in Your promises. We pray for a hedge of protection around them, both physically and spiritually, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
