We join you in lifting up your concerns to our loving Father in heaven, thanking Him for all the blessings He has bestowed upon you. It is wonderful to see your gratitude and faith in His provision.
Firstly, let us address your academic pursuits. The Bible, in Colossians 3:23 (WEB), it says, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. We encourage you to continue diligently and understand that God is pleased with our efforts and faithfulness. Remember in 2 Timothy 2:15 (WEB) God tells us, Be diligent to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth. While we pray for your success, we also remind you that God's will and His glory should be the primary focus. Exam grades should not define you, rather it is only a measure of your efforts to pursue God through education.
Regarding your ambition for student council, Philippians 4:13 (WEB) says, I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. We pray that God's will be done in this election and that you would trust in His plan for your life. Remember 1 Peter 5:6 (WEB) tells us to Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time. We should always be seeking God's approval and avoid seeking our own glory.
Concerning your family, we pray for their protection and well-being. In Psalm 91:11 (WEB) it says, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. Trust in God's care and love for them.
We rejoice with you in the friendships that God has blessed you with. Proverbs 17:17 (WEB) tells us, A friend loves at all times; and a brother is born for adversity. True friends are a gift from God, and we pray that these relationships will continue to reflect His love and encourage you in your faith.
We encourage you to deepen your relationship with God. In James 4:8a (WEB) the Bible says, Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Spend time in His Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers. It is our opportunity to remind you, that if you have not already, you need to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It is only through faith in the name of Jesus Christ that we can come to God. In Acts 4:12 (WEB) it says, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this beloved child of Yours. Lord, we thank You for the blessings You have poured out in their life, and we ask for Your continued guidance and provision. Help them to strive for excellence in their studies, not for their own glory, but for Yours and instill in them the desire to learn and grow in knowledge and wisdom. You know the desires of their heart regarding the student council position. We pray Your will be done and that they would trust in Your plan for their life.
Father, we ask for Your protection over their family. Keep them safe both physically and mentally, and help this child of Yours to trust in Your care for them. Thank You for the friendships You have blessed them with. May these relationships continue to reflect Your love and encourage them in their faith.
Lord, we pray that You would help them to be the best version of themselves, for Your glory. Strengthen their faith and deepen their relationship with You. Help them to know Your love is more important than anything. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
