O Lord, expose and scatter by fire every evil plot and plan of ###, ###, ###, ###, ### and ### against my life, family and anywhere the enemies have gathered to device evil plot against my life and family in other to bring destruction, death and failure, let the fire of God destroy and nullify them in Jesus name Amen. Also, Every plot and plan of the enemies to take my life and that of my family members be thwarted and let those involved die instead in Jesus name, Amen.

We join with you in seeking the Lord for protection over your life and your family and we stand with you against every evil plot and plan formed against you.

We hear your desire for God to expose and scatter and nullify every scheme of the enemy wherever it has been devised to bring destruction and death and failure and we agree that God is our refuge and defender. We are reminded of His promise that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17 and that He will put His angels in charge of you to guard you in all your ways Psalm 91:11. We also cling to the truth that the Lord is faithful who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3 and that the angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him and delivers them Psalm 34:7.

We must lovingly correct one part of your request in light of Scripture. You asked that those involved in plots against you would die instead. We understand the pain and urgency behind that cry but God calls us to a different response toward those who intend harm. Our wrestling is not against flesh and blood but against the principalities against the powers against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. Jesus teaches us to love your enemies bless those who curse you do good to those who hate you and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. Scripture also says don't seek revenge yourselves beloved but give place to God's wrath for it is written Vengeance belongs to me I will repay says the Lord Romans 12:19. The Lord does not delight in the death of the wicked but desires that they turn from their way and live Ezekiel 33:11 and He desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:4. Therefore we cannot join you in praying for the death of any person but we do pray with you that every evil plan will be exposed scattered and brought to nothing and that God in His perfect justice and mercy will thwart the schemes of the enemy and bring those who plot evil to repentance or to justice according to His righteous will.

We thank God that you have prayed in the name of Jesus for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in no other name that we are saved. Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life no one comes to the Father except through me John 14:6 and there is salvation in no one else for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

We pray together now. Father in heaven we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we ask for Your covering over this dear one and over every member of their family. Expose every hidden work of darkness and scatter every gathering formed for evil against them. Let Your holy fire consume and nullify every plot and device intended for destruction and death and failure. We ask that You frustrate the plans of the wicked and make their schemes of no effect and let no weapon formed against Your children prosper. Guard their going out and coming in and command Your angels to keep watch over them. Fill their home with Your peace and let no fear remain. We also bring before You those who have set themselves against them and we ask not for their death but for Your mercy and justice to prevail. Bring them to conviction and repentance if it is Your will and stop their evil with Your mighty hand. Help our dear brother or sister to walk in forgiveness and to overcome evil with good Romans 12:21 and to trust You as their avenger and protector. Strengthen their faith and teach them to put on the whole armor of God daily that they may stand firm against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11. We thank You that You hear us and that You are our shield and deliverer. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray Amen.

We encourage you to continue to abide in Christ and to dwell in prayer and in the Word and to walk in obedience and holiness. Keep your heart free from hatred and entrust every threat to the Lord who judges righteously. As you remain faithful He will establish you and keep you and He will turn what was meant for evil into good for those who love Him.

Father, in Jesus' name we bring this person and their family to You. We ask for Your protection over their lives and home, for Your peace to guard their hearts when fear rises, and for wisdom to walk in Your will each day. Where there is real evil or harm intended, we ask You to thwart it according to Your perfect justice and mercy and to keep this family safe in Your hands. There is a holy and right desire in your heart to see your life and your family kept safe under the hand of God, and the Lord hears the groaning of those who cry to Him for deliverance. He looks down from the height of His sanctuary to hear the prisoner and to set free those who are appointed to sorrow, and He has provided a ransom in Christ Jesus by which He says, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom.

When fear presses upon the soul, Scripture gives us a better cure than the destruction of our enemies. David, who knew what it was to be hunted and plotted against, said, What time I am afraid, I will trust in Thee. And the angel's word at Bethlehem still sounds, Fear not. For the believer, every smart and sorrow is seen as coming through a Father's hand, not by chance, and we are taught to say, The will of the Lord be done, trusting that what He permits is not to kill but to cure, and that He will plead the causes of our soul.

For this reason the Word of God does not teach us to ask for the death of those who intend us harm. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He has said, Vengeance is mine, I will repay. Our Lord commands us to love our enemies and pray for them that despitefully use us, that they might be brought to repentance and to the knowledge of salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.

It is right to pray that every evil plot against you and your household would be exposed and brought to nothing, and that the Lord would be your shield and keeper. It is not right to ask God to take the lives of others in your place. Christ has already taken the place of sinners upon the cross, suffering in their stead, so that justice might be satisfied and mercy might be offered even to those who now do evil.

Let us pray then in a way that honors God and leaves justice in His wise and merciful hands.

O Lord our God, Thou who hast pleaded the causes of our souls and delivered us from the power of darkness, look in mercy upon this family. Thwart and bring to nothing every plan formed for destruction, death and failure. Scatter every gathering for evil and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Keep them in perfect peace as they trust in Thee, and cast out all tormenting fear. And we pray also for those who intend harm, that Thou wouldst turn their hearts, convict them of sin, and bring them to repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they might be saved and transformed by Thy grace. We ask not for vengeance by our own hand, but for Thy protection, Thy will to be done, and Thy name to be glorified, through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Continue to trust Him who is your salvation, and rest in this confidence, that if He has delivered you from the greater power of sin and darkness, He will certainly keep you through every lesser trial until He brings you safely home.

Your heart to see your family protected from harm is understandable, and it is right to bring your fears and the threats you perceive to God in prayer. God hears the cries of those who seek refuge in Him, and He is faithful to guard and keep His people.

At the same time, Scripture calls us to be careful how we pray concerning those we consider enemies. The desire for protection is good, but asking God to cause specific people to die is not how Jesus teaches us to pray. We are taught to love our enemies and pray for them, to not repay evil for evil to any person, and to leave vengeance in the hands of God who judges justly. As one of the homilies reminds us, when others plot against us, the greater harm is not to the one who suffers but to the one who does the evil, for the soul that sins is the one in danger before God. Another reminds us that the enemy can frighten, but with God our soul need not be overturned or thrown into despair, even when many plots surround us.

God has promised that He will put all enemies under the feet of Christ in His own time and in His own way, and we can trust His timing rather than calling down death ourselves. For this reason we cannot join you in praying for the death of those you named, but we can and do pray with you for what is right and good to ask.

Let us pray together in this way: Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we ask for Your protection over this life and this family. Where there are evil plans, bring them to nothing. Expose what is done in darkness, thwart what would bring destruction, death and failure, and keep this family safe from harm. Guard their hearts from fear, help them to stand firm and not be shaken, and give them grace to give thanks and trust You even in trial. We also pray for those who intend harm, that You would bring them to repentance and to the knowledge of Your mercy, and that Your justice and Your mercy would both be accomplished according to Your perfect will. Deliver this family from evil and let Your peace rule in their home. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord, to walk in His ways, and to trust Him as your defender. If you are facing specific threats or danger, please also seek wise and safe help from trusted pastors and, where needed, appropriate authorities, while you keep entrusting yourself to God who is able to keep you.

I hear the burden and fear in your prayer for your life and your family, and your desire for God to protect you from every plan meant to bring destruction, death and failure is understandable. God hates evil, and the fear of the Lord itself is shown in hating evil and loving what is good. Evil by its nature seeks to be tolerated and to draw people into compromise, but Scripture calls us to take a different path, to turn away from it, to avoid it, to remove our feet from it and to keep our eyes looking straight ahead on the way of uprightness.

God sees all that is done in darkness. Nothing is hidden from His eyes, and no plan formed against His people escapes His notice. He has promised to be a deliverer for those who trust Him, and He alone has the right and the power to expose what is hidden, to thwart what is wicked, and to bring justice in His perfect time. The Bible teaches that evil destroys those who practice it and harms those around them, which is why God commands us to depart from it. That turning brings health and wholeness, and keeping ourselves in the love of God keeps us in the place of His protection and blessing.

Because judgment belongs to the Lord, we are not to take vengeance into our own hands or to ask God to bring death upon others. Scripture says vengeance is the Lord's, and He will repay. God is patient and merciful, giving every person opportunity to hear His warning, to turn from their evil way, and to receive forgiveness through Jesus Christ. His desire is that people would repent and be saved, and while He will surely judge unrepentant evil, He also shows mercy to all who turn to Him.

So instead of praying for the death of those who may wish you harm, the better and biblical way to pray is to ask God to expose and bring to nothing every evil counsel, to guard you and your household under His hand, to make any plan for destruction fail, and to work in the hearts of those who do evil that they would turn from it and find mercy. We can hate the evil itself while still praying that those caught in it would be changed by God.

Let me pray for you in that way. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I ask You to watch over this life and this family. You see every gathering and every plan formed in secret. Expose what needs to be exposed, scatter what is intended for harm, and make every scheme for destruction and failure come to nothing. Keep this family on Your path, help them to hate what You hate and to love what You love, to turn from evil and to walk in uprightness. Surround them with Your protection, give them peace and not fear, and establish their steps. And I ask that You would show mercy even to those who intend harm, that You would bring them to see their sin, to turn from their evil way, and to seek Your forgiveness. We trust Your justice and Your mercy, and we leave all judgment in Your hands. Amen.
