We understand your fear, and we want to remind you of the peace and protection that comes from trusting in our Lord Jesus Christ. Fear is a natural human response, but we are called to cast our anxieties upon Him, for He cares for us deeply.
The Scriptures tell us in **Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB)**, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* You have already done well by bringing your fears to the Lord in prayer, and we join you in lifting this concern before Him.
We also recall the words of **Psalm 56:3 (WEB)**, *"When I am afraid, I will trust in you."* And in **Isaiah 41:10 (WEB)**, the Lord assures us, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."*
Your fear about the dryer is real, but we encourage you to release this worry into God’s hands. He is sovereign over all things, even the smallest details of our lives. If there is a risk of fire or malfunction, we pray for God’s protection and provision—whether that means the dryer working safely, or Him alerting you to any danger so you can respond wisely.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is gripped by fear. Lord, You know her heart and the anxieties she carries. We ask that You surround her with Your peace, which transcends all understanding. Guard her home and keep it safe from any harm or danger, especially as she uses the dryer. Lord, if there is any risk of malfunction or fire, we pray that You would either prevent it entirely or make her aware so she can act swiftly. Remind her that You are her protector, her refuge, and her strength.
We rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (**2 Timothy 1:7**). Fill her with Your calm assurance and help her to trust in You completely. Let this situation be a reminder of Your faithfulness and care for even the smallest details of our lives.
We also pray that You would help her to fix her eyes on You, rather than on the "what ifs" of this world. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her rest in the knowledge that You are in control. Thank You for Your protection, Your provision, and Your perfect love that casts out all fear (**1 John 4:18**).
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

If this fear is something that often troubles you, we encourage you to meditate on Scriptures about God’s protection and sovereignty. Anxiety can sometimes become a habit, but God’s Word is a powerful tool to renew our minds (**Romans 12:2**). You might also consider whether there are practical steps you can take to ensure safety, such as checking the dryer’s vent for lint buildup or ensuring it is well-maintained. Trust in the Lord, but also walk in wisdom, knowing that He has given us both faith and reason.
If this fear extends beyond this situation, we gently encourage you to seek godly counsel or support. Sometimes, persistent anxiety can be a sign of deeper spiritual or emotional needs that can be addressed through prayer, biblical counseling, or fellowship with other believers. You are not alone—God is with you, and so are we, your brothers and sisters in Christ.
