Romans 13:1 WEB: "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God." We pray that God's will be done in this situation and that He will grant mercy and grace as needed.

However, we want to gently remind you that continually finding oneself in such situations may indicate a deeper issue that needs addressing. It's essential to seek God's will in all things. We encourage you to be the husband or wife that God requires of the other person if you are married. Ephesians 5:22-33 WEB gives clear instructions. If not married, then we pray for a husband or wife for each other. We are to court for the Biblical purpose of finding a spouse. We are not simply to date for the sake of having a relationship outside of God's will.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in their time of need. We thank You that You are sovereign over all things, and nothing takes You by surprise.

Father, we ask that You protect and guide the loved one as they travel. Send Your angels to guard and keep them safe from harm.

Lord, we also bring before You the situation regarding the arrest. We ask for Your will to be done, and for mercy and grace to be extended as needed in Jesus name.

We are so grateful, Lord, that You are always with us, and that You promise never to leave us nor forsake us in Jesus name.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
