We have heard your cry and we are standing with you in prayer for you and your son. We understand how heavy this feels as a single mom carrying the weight of providing a home and feeling like everything depends on tomorrow. The fear and spiraling thoughts, the inability to breathe, eat or sleep, and the worry about losing your apartment are real, and we bring all of it before the Lord together with you.
We want to remind you that God sees you and your son and He is not distant from this situation. He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1. He is the One who goes before you. Yahweh, he it is who does go before you. He will be with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. Don't be afraid. Don't be discouraged. Deuteronomy 31:8. We are praying that He has already gone before you into that appointment tomorrow, that He has prepared the way, prepared the paperwork, prepared the hearts of those you will meet, and that His favor will rest upon you. We pray for His provision and protection over your home, for He knows your needs. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33.
We also hear how this worry is stealing your peace, joy, focus, and even affecting your relationship with your son. God does not want you to live under this crushing anxiety. He invites you to release it to Him. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. We encourage you to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7. That verse tells us He cares deeply for you as a mother and for your son. He says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10.
We noticed you asked for prayer to God but did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share why His name matters so much. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him we are saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. When we pray in Jesus name we are coming by the blood He shed for us, trusting that He died and rose again to make us right with God. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear mother and her son to You. Lord, You see her fear, her sleepless nights, her inability to breathe and eat, and the spiraling thoughts that tell her she will lose everything. We ask You to rebuke that spirit of fear and replace it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Lord, we ask that You go before her tomorrow into that recertification appointment. Prepare every document, every detail, and let everything be in order and in her favor. Let there be no trouble, no loss, and no confusion, but let Your hand of provision keep a roof over her and her son. Provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory. Restore her peace and joy, help her to breathe deeply, to rest, to eat and to be present with her son again. Give her a reason to relax and to celebrate tomorrow as a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness. Strengthen her as a mother and show her that You are her provider, protector, and ever present help. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus, amen.
We encourage you tonight and tomorrow to do what you can in the natural and trust God with the rest. Gather every paper you need, make a list, try to rest, and before you go in, pause and pray and ask Jesus to walk in with you. When fearful thoughts come, speak scripture over them and remind yourself that God holds your future and your home in His hands. We are praying that tomorrow brings good news, that you will keep your apartment, that you will not be in trouble, and that God will give you that deep peace and a reason to rejoice and celebrate His faithfulness to you and your son.
