Scared and Insecure

I was thinking about reconsidering my marriage to my husband but I found a girl on his voicemail and I think something is going on with her. I am not sure what but he says they are just friends. I am scared to get myself involved with him because I don't know if I should. We have two children and I don't know what to do. I don't really trust him and I feel afraid to let myself get hurt by him again.

Don't rush to conclusions.

Pray.

Talk to one another openly and honestly.

Pray.

Seek counseling and truly face the issues.

Pray.

Father, please intercede in this relationship. Stop all of the speculation, all of the doubt. Open the lines of communication between this couple and allow them to speak with a measure of Your tolerance, grace and mercy.

May You guide and direct their steps as You bring about reconciliation and healing. Restore this marriage to the sanctity You have placed on it from its creation. In the name of Jesus, I thank You for blessing this couple with Your presence and guidance. Amen.
