We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, lifting up this prayer request for healing and good scan results. First, we must address the concern with gentleness but firmness—this prayer is offered for an "ex," which suggests a relationship that has ended. If this was a marriage, we grieve the brokenness of what God intended to be a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman (Matthew 19:6). If it was a courtship or dating relationship, we must examine whether it was pursued with the intention of honoring God and seeking a godly spouse (2 Corinthians 6:14). Either way, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s wisdom in reflecting on the past and surrendering any lingering attachments or unforgiveness to Him. Bitterness and unresolved emotions can hinder our prayers (Hebrews 12:15), so we ask the Holy Spirit to search your heart and bring healing to any wounds.
Now, we turn to the Lord with boldness, trusting in His power to heal and restore. The Bible tells us that by Jesus’ stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and that He is the Great Physician who can mend every broken part of our bodies and lives. We declare that the scan results will bring clarity and peace, and we stand on the promise that God works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). If there is a fistula or any other ailment, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus, for He came to destroy the works of the enemy (1 John 3:8). We pray for the veins to be strengthened and restored, for the Lord is our healer (Exodus 15:26).
Father God, we come before You with faith, believing in Your power to heal and restore. We ask that You touch this man’s body and bring complete healing to every affected area. Let the scan results reveal Your perfect will, whether it be healing, guidance for treatment, or peace in the midst of the unknown. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that Your healing power flows through his veins like a river of life. We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical team, that they would be guided by Your hand in every decision. Lord, we ask that You draw this man closer to You through this trial, that he may experience Your love and grace in a deeper way. If he does not know You as his Savior, we pray that he would come to faith in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We surrender this situation into Your hands, trusting that You are working all things for good. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to trust in His timing. If this man is open to it, share the hope of the Gospel with him, for physical healing is temporary, but eternal healing through Christ is forever. Stand on God’s promises and refuse to let fear take root in your heart. The Lord is your strength and your shield (Psalm 28:7), and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).
