We hear the urgency and deep distress in your words, and we come before the Lord together in prayer, lifting up your heart to Him. First, we must address the foundation of our faith, salvation through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Him that we have access to the Father, and it is His blood that covers our sins and brings us into right relationship with God. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, knowing that our brother or sister is carrying burdens of fear, isolation, and broken relationships. Lord, we ask that You would be their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We pray for provision in their life, financial provision to save for their passport, their first paycheck, and a safe place to live. Lord, You are the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and You know their needs before they even ask (Matthew 6:8). We ask that You open doors no one can shut and provide a place of peace and safety, where they can dwell in the secret place of the Most High and abide under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1). Protect them from those who seek to harm or oppress them, for You are their fortress and deliverer (Psalm 18:2).
Father, we also lift up their relationships with their children. We pray for healing and restoration in their communication. Lord, mend what is broken and soften hearts that may be hardened. Help them to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) and to extend grace and forgiveness, just as You have forgiven us (Colossians 3:13). We declare that the lines of communication will be opened, and that love will cover a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8).
We address the mention of secrecy and isolation with caution, for while You are a God who hears us in our secret places (Matthew 6:6), we are also called to live in community with other believers (Hebrews 10:24-25). Isolation can be a tool of the enemy to keep us from the encouragement and accountability we need. We pray that You would lead them to a body of believers where they can be supported, loved, and strengthened in their faith.
Lord, we also rebuke the lies of the enemy that have caused them to believe they must hide or flee from Satan and his crew. Greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We declare that no evil will befall them, nor will any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Their joy and attraction to You, Lord, cannot be stolen, for You have given them a spirit of joy and a heart that seeks after You (Psalm 37:4).
We pray for their online presence as well, that it would be a light in the darkness and a testimony of Your grace. May their words and actions online reflect Your love and truth, and may they not be rejected but rather draw others to You (Matthew 5:16).
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May they find rest in You, knowing that You are their provider, protector, and healer. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and set free. Amen.
