Disciple of Prayer
I come crying to all you faithful to help me in my dire need to save my marriage from separation. Help my wife to get rid of whatever fear and anger she has towards continuing in this relationship and bring me home now. Help her to see doubt and regret in her decisions. I repent for my part in how we got here but I am asking you to pray for me and help bring me home now and then ask God to help guide me in repairing this marriage. Pray for to me get rid of whatever evil is making its mark in our lives right now. I know God has a plan for me and us but I am asking God to have him grant me this grace and favor now. God listens to all his faithful, and I need all the help I can get so I am asking you to pray and ask Him to make my will his will. He can do anything in this world. I shall forever be grateful for this favor. Thank You and may all of you forever be blessed. Amen

We hear your desperate cry and lift your marriage before the Lord with heavy hearts. Marriage is a sacred covenant, a reflection of Christ’s love for His church (Ephesians 5:25-33), and we stand with you in prayer, believing God can restore what has been broken. You’ve shown humility in repenting for your part in this struggle, and that is the first step toward healing. The Word reminds us, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We pray that same cleansing and forgiveness would flow between you and your wife.

Yet we must also speak truth in love. Your request for God to make your wife doubt and regret her decisions raises concern. While we understand the pain of separation, we cannot pray for manipulation or coercion, even in marriage. True restoration comes when both hearts willingly surrender to God’s will, not when one is pressured into submission. "A man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps" (Proverbs 16:9). Instead, let us pray for her heart to soften toward God’s truth, for clarity in her thoughts, and for the Holy Spirit to draw her back to the marriage covenant if it aligns with His will.

We also sense the weight of spiritual warfare in your words. The enemy seeks to destroy marriages (John 10:10), and we must stand firm against his schemes. "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12). We rebuke every spirit of division, fear, and anger that has taken root in your home. We declare that no weapon formed against your marriage shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

But restoration requires more than prayer, it requires action. Are you seeking godly counsel, studying Scripture together (even if apart for now), and demonstrating Christlike love in your words and deeds? "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave Himself up for it" (Ephesians 5:25). Love is not just a feeling; it is a choice to serve, honor, and cherish, even when emotions waver. We encourage you to examine your own heart: Are there areas where you’ve failed to lead spiritually, to listen, or to show patience? Repentance must be followed by transformation.

Let us pray now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with broken hearts for this marriage. Lord, You are the God who heals and restores, and we ask You to intervene in this situation. Soften the heart of this wife, that she may see Your hand at work and remember the vows she made before You. Give this husband wisdom, patience, and a spirit of humility as he seeks to honor You in this trial. Remove every spirit of division, fear, and anger that has taken hold. We rebuke the enemy’s lies and declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we ask You to align this husband’s will with Yours. Help him to trust in Your timing and to walk in obedience, even when the path is unclear. Give him the strength to love his wife as Christ loves the church, to lead with gentleness, and to seek reconciliation with a pure heart. If there are areas where he has failed, reveal them to him, Lord, and grant him the grace to change.

We also pray for this wife, that You would draw her close to You. Meet her in her fears and doubts, and replace them with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). If there are wounds that need healing, we ask You to bind them up and bring comfort. If there are misunderstandings, we ask You to bring clarity. If there is hardness of heart, we ask You to soften it.

Lord, we know that nothing is impossible for You (Luke 1:37). We ask You to restore this marriage, not for their sake alone, but for Your glory. May their home be a testament to Your faithfulness and grace. If it is not Your will for them to reconcile, we ask You to bring healing and peace to both of them individually, that they may walk in Your purposes for their lives.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, the One who makes all things new (Revelation 21:5). Amen.

In the days ahead, cling to the promise that "the Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit" (Psalm 34:18). Seek the Lord earnestly, not just for the restoration of your marriage, but for a deeper relationship with Him. Let this trial refine you, drawing you closer to the heart of God. And remember, "unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1). Invite Him to be the foundation of your home, and trust that He will guide your steps.

We hear the desperation in your cry, and we are standing with you in this heavy moment. Your repentance is a genuine beginning, and that matters deeply. There’s no shortcut around the truth that reconciliation is a slow rebuilding of trust, not a single decision, it’s a day-by-day posture of humility and faithful love. Right now, your wife’s fear and anger feel impenetrable, and the desire to rush back home is overwhelming, but healing this rift will likely require you to stay steady, giving her space to breathe while you quietly refuse to let go of hope.

A grounded next step: if you haven’t already, ask a wise pastor or a godly couple from your church to walk with both of you, not to pressure her, but to create a safe place for honest conversation when she’s ready. In the meantime, focus on what you can change. Let your repentance take shape in concrete, consistent kindness, even from a distance, without agenda. Prayer and patience are not passive; they are active trust while God works in her heart and yours.

We also ask the Lord to push back any spiritual darkness clouding your home. He is greater than every fear, every lie, every force that tears at what He has joined.

Please hear this without reading it as a promise we can manufacture: God does restore broken marriages. But even as we long to see it happen quickly, His timing often stretches us further than we’d choose, and it will be His power that carries you both, not your striving.

Lord Jesus, we lift this husband to You. Guard his mind from panic, and give him the quiet strength to wait on You. Where his wife is paralyzed by fear and anger, soften her heart in Your time. Drive out everything that opposes Your peace, and surround this marriage with wise helpers. Sustain his hope, and let Your will be done. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You cry out for the salvation of your marriage, and it is good that you acknowledge your own part in this bitter strife. Yet I bid you examine well the repentance you profess. There is a repentance that springs from fear of loss, from dread of separation, a carnal repentance, born of judgment and terror, which is not that holy, heavenly sort worked by the Spirit. Does your sorrow arise only because you are driven from your home and from your wife’s affections? Such repentance may weep, but it gives no glory to God and soon vanishes away. True repentance looks beyond the misery of the moment; it sees sin as an affront against infinite goodness, and it turns from evil not merely to regain comfort, but to be made right with Christ. True repentance is ever wedded to faith, faith that casts itself wholly upon the finished work of Jesus, who alone can cleanse and restore.

You implore that your wife be delivered from her fear and anger, and that you be brought home speedily. Fear is a cruel archer, and you both are sorely wounded by it. Yet remember this: the soul that has learned to fear God need fear nothing else. The Lord can silence every accusing thought and still every tempest of the heart. When you come to the mercy-seat, there where God meets sinners for Christ’s sake, your own fears will begin to dissolve. But you must not demand that God act upon your timetable. He who delivered Israel from Egypt brought them forth with silver and gold at the exact hour decreed. He makes no mistakes in the clock of mercy. Wait upon Him. Wrestle at the brook Jabbok; cling to the angel of the covenant until you prevail. It may be that when you cease to command the moment of deliverance, you shall meet with a kiss of peace.

You speak of your wife’s doubts and regret, and you long to see her eyes turned again toward you. Yet there is a greater overcoming: when a sinner looks with tear-filled eyes to Christ, he overcomes the heart of the Savior. The Lord Jesus is more ready to forgive than you are to ask. But this forgiveness comes not by brokering your own plan; it comes where repentance and remission are preached in His name, a repentance that is His gift, not your work. Seek then first the restoration of your own soul. Before you cry “Bring me home,” cry “Create in me a clean heart, O God.” The way to a healed marriage lies through a humbled heart. Repentance is not a single act confined to the beginning of conversion; it lives as long as faith lives. Walk in it daily. Let your present sorrow drive you deeper into the love of Christ, and He will give you both practical grace and inward peace.

Do not think that the evil which has marked your lives will be cast out by a mere wish. True repentance yields works meet for repentance, lasting, practical, cleansing the hands and purifying the heart. If you turn to God with an everlasting hatred of the sin that brought this ruin, you need not doubt that your repentance is unto life. And while you wait, remember that the Lord has found a ransom: He has devised a way of deliverance from the pit that you could never have imagined. Trust that ransom, not your own urgency. Pray still, but let your prayer be, “Let Thy will be mine, for Thou art wiser than I.” He who spared not His own Son will in due time bring you forth with songs of deliverance. The Saviour who overcame death and hell can surely overcome the walls that divide you now. Rest in Him.
