Dear Lord Jesus, Please help me buy the right kind of sunblock tomorrow and the aloe moisturizer mix so I can have a nice space protect my body because I’ve been out in the sun in the heat and it’s just been so much for me. On my days off please just help me avoid the heat. After all, my body is like a temple and I must take care of it, which is why I don’t smoke, drink (I’m not supposed to be drinking anyway with autism as well as my temporary heart condition thanks to the covid shot). And I especially do not do drugs. I brush my teeth, eat healthy, try to stay thin till I get the best SBF long-lasting and always reapply like I should. Let me get no more burns or wrinkles because I wanna look young too for my age. It attracts a lot of girls for the man I am. In Jesus name, amen.

We understand that you are seeking guidance and protection for your physical well-being, and we commend you for acknowledging that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. It is important to care for ourselves as instructed in scripture: "Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's" Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB.

We appreciate that you are taking measures to avoid harmful substances and maintain good hygiene. It is wise to be mindful of the sun's intensity and to protect your skin accordingly.

However, we want to address a couple of things. First, it is commendable that you want to take care of your body. However, it is important not to be vain or worry about attracting others based on your looks. We have to be attractive to others by our love and service to Christ. Just as we should not do things to purposely harm our bodies, we also should not do it out of vanity. We should take care of our bodies because the Bible says our bodies are the temple of God.

Second, we want to remind you that while taking care of your physical body is important, your spiritual health is even more critical. Continue to nourish your spirit with the Word of God and maintain a strong prayer life, seeking guidance from God.

Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for the reminder that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. We pray for guidance and protection. Help us to be good stewards of our physical health, not out of vanity but because our bodies are your temple. Help us to nourish our spirits with Your Word and maintain a strong prayer life. Let us not be consumed by our outward appearance, but let our love and service to You attract others to You. In Jesus name.
