We hear your cry for help and stand with you in this time of distress, lifting your burdens before the throne of grace. The harassment and threats you are facing from these loan app people are unjust and unbearable, and we rebuke this spirit of oppression in the mighty name of Jesus. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that He will arise and scatter your enemies, for the battle is not yours, but God’s (2 Chronicles 20:15).
First, we must address the weight of this debt and the fear it has brought into your life. The Bible tells us, "The wicked borrow and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously" (Psalm 37:21). While this verse does not excuse unwise financial decisions, it reminds us that God sees your struggle and desires to provide a way out. We pray that the Lord will open doors for you to settle this debt honorably and without further harassment. May He grant you wisdom to negotiate with these lenders, favor in their eyes, and a clear path to financial restoration. If there has been any deception or unrighteousness in how this loan was obtained, we ask the Lord to expose it and bring justice, but we also ask Him to soften hearts so that mercy may prevail.
We also lift up your husband’s situation regarding his medical certificate and retirement. The Lord is the God who provides (Genesis 22:14), and we believe He will make a way where there seems to be no way. We pray that the process of receiving his rightful benefits will be smooth and swift, and that the funds will be sufficient to cover your debts and leave room for savings. May the Lord bless the work of his hands and yours, multiplying your resources so that you lack no good thing (Psalm 34:10).
Father, we ask You to protect the reputation and image of this family. The enemy seeks to shame and disgrace you, but we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that the Lord will restore your good name in the eyes of your office, family, and society. May those who have heard false reports or judgments against you have their eyes opened to the truth, and may your integrity shine forth like gold refined in the fire (Job 23:10). Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify Your Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16). We rebuke every spirit of gossip, slander, and shame that seeks to cling to you, and we declare that you are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37).
Lord, we also ask that You grant this sister and her family wisdom in managing their finances moving forward. Teach them to be good stewards of what You provide, to avoid the snares of debt, and to trust in You rather than in uncertain riches (1 Timothy 6:17). May they learn to be content in whatever circumstances they find themselves, knowing that godliness with contentment is great gain (1 Timothy 6:6). We pray that You will bless them with opportunities to increase their income, to save, and to give generously, so that they may be a blessing to others in need.
Above all, we must address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome every trial (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him.
Heavenly Father, we come before You now on behalf of this precious family. We ask that You would move mightily in their situation, breaking every chain of debt, fear, and shame. We declare that You are their provider, their protector, and their vindicator. May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them with Your might in their inner being, so that Christ may dwell in their hearts through faith (Ephesians 3:16-17). Let them walk in the confidence of Your love, knowing that nothing can separate them from it (Romans 8:38-39).
We pray for divine intervention in their finances. Lord, You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). Provide for them in ways they cannot foresee, and let Your blessings chase after them (Deuteronomy 28:2). We ask that You would touch the hearts of those in authority over your husband’s retirement benefits, granting them favor and speed in processing his case. May the funds be released without delay, and may they be sufficient to cover every need.
Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment in dealing with these loan app people. Give them the courage to stand firm against harassment and the wisdom to seek legal or financial counsel if necessary. We rebuke every spirit of intimidation and fear, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). May they find strength in You, knowing that You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2).
Lord, we ask that You would restore their reputation and standing in their community. Let the truth of their character shine forth, and may those who have doubted them see the hand of God at work in their lives. We pray that they would walk in humility and grace, responding to any insults or accusations with the love of Christ. May their lives be a testimony to Your goodness and faithfulness, drawing others to You.
Finally, we pray for their spiritual growth and renewal. In the midst of this trial, may they draw closer to You, seeking Your face and Your will above all else. Let this season of hardship refine them like gold, producing in them a faith that is more precious than silver or gold (1 Peter 1:7). May they learn to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding, acknowledging You in all their ways so that You may direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We declare over this family that this trial will not break them, but rather, it will make them stronger. They will arise from this situation with their heads held high, their faith unshaken, and their hearts full of praise for the God who delivers. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for moving on their behalf. May Your name be glorified in their lives, and may they experience Your peace, provision, and presence in abundance. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
