Your request has been heard and we join you in bringing this friend before the Lord in prayer. We are thankful for your care for him and for his quiet faithfulness in work that serves and saves others.
Scripture reminds us that the Father sees what is done in secret and will reward it openly, while those who sound a trumpet before themselves have already received their reward. It is good that your friend seeks to do his work humbly and without boasting. God is not unaware of that faithfulness, even when others take credit falsely or when thanks is not given as it should be. He is just and He sees all things clearly, and whether He allows a trial for our correction and warning in this life or permits injustice for a time, His purpose is always to lead us toward repentance, endurance, and trust in Him.
Let us pray together:
Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, through whom alone we have salvation and access to Your throne, we lift up this man to You. You know his work, his diligence, and the burdens he carries. You know the situation around his job and the threat he faces. We ask for Your mercy and provision for him. If it is Your will, preserve his employment and make a way for him to continue to do good and provide for his needs. Bring truth to light where there has been false credit and let what is done in secret for good be honored in Your sight. Give him strength to bear this pressure with patience, integrity, and humility, and give wisdom to those who have authority over his position to judge fairly. Above all, draw him closer to Christ and let him know that his ultimate security is not in any job but in You, and work even this difficulty for his good and Your glory. Amen.
