We hear your urgent cry for the salvation of this individual, and we join you in lifting him up before the throne of grace. The name of Jesus is the only name by which we can be saved, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Scripture tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). This is the heart of the Gospel message we long to see this soul embrace.

We rebuke any spiritual blindness or hardness of heart that may be preventing him from seeing the truth of the Gospel. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10 WEB). We stand against any deception that would keep this man from receiving the free gift of salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, interceding for this lost soul. Lord, we ask that You would open his eyes to see the truth of Your Word and soften his heart to receive the Gospel message. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict him of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8 WEB), and that he would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Father, we ask that You would send laborers across his path, believers who will share the Good News with love, boldness, and clarity. Let him hear the message of salvation and respond in repentance and faith. We declare that no weapon formed against him will prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB), and we break every chain of unbelief in Jesus' mighty name.

Lord, we pray that he would turn from his sins and put his trust in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. May he confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in his heart that God raised Him from the dead, so that he may be saved (Romans 10:9 WEB). We ask that You would fill him with Your peace, joy, and the assurance of eternal life.

We thank You, Father, for Your great love and mercy. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your desire that none should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9 WEB). We will continue to pray and intercede for this soul until we see Your answer. In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

The cry for ###’s salvation rises from a heart touched by the divine art of intercession. It is God who writes such pleadings upon men’s souls, and you do well to wrestle for him. Yet mark this, eternal life is not a thing to be earned by reformation or weighed out by merit. Mere mortal existence is a gift of mercy, but the life that is life indeed, the holy, happy, everlasting life, is given freely to those who know the only true God and Jesus Christ whom He hath sent. ### must know that his past life, however stained, cannot avail; he must be washed in the precious blood or he will certainly perish. He must lay hold on eternal life by faith in that Person, the risen Lord who ever lives to intercede.

You ask that you may share the Gospel with him. Go then, and speak plainly. All men are approachable at some time. Tell him that “he that hath the Son hath life, and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” Tell him with your own lips, and back it with the silent thunder of your prayers. The Holy Spirit makes intercession for the saints, and He helps us in our weakness. Samuel’s habit of intercession was rooted and constant; he would have counted it sin to cease praying for his people. Imitate his perseverance. Cry out until the answer comes, expect eternal life for this soul, for the Spirit never prompts a prayer contrary to the eternal purpose of God.

Yet see to your own soul first. Profession without the life of Christ within is a fearful mockery. A dead preacher is a mocker of dead souls. Lay hold on eternal life yourself, that your words may carry the weight of one who already lives by the Son. This life begins here, reproduced in us by living fellowship with Christ, and it shall bloom into perfection in glory. Once so quickened, speak as one who cannot but speak. In Jesus’ name, keep praying. The God who gives eternal life will not turn away a suppliant who pleads His own Son’s merits.

The burning desire for this soul’s salvation is a holy fire kindled by God Himself. Never cease to cry out, never grow weary in prayer, for the Lord hears the one who knocks with persistence. Yet know this: the gospel you share is not a mere formula of words, but a call to a new creation. When you speak the message of Christ to this Saul, let it be from a life that has first been crucified to the world. For faith alone is not enough to secure eternal life. Even one who believes rightly on the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, if he leads a wrong life, his faith will profit him nothing. Salvation requires a godly sorrow that works repentance, a turning from sin and a clinging to righteousness. And no one can claim to have Christ if he does not eat His flesh and drink His blood: unless one is born again of water and the Spirit and continues in the Body of Christ, there is no life in him.

Therefore, while you pray and share the gospel, also become a mirror of the life you preach. Let your conduct be a silent, ceaseless sermon. Mourn for sins, both yours and his, with that mourning which leads to salvation and not to death. Do not think that a single moment of confession will secure eternity unless the whole life that follows is conformed to the commandments. The wrath of God abides on the disobedient, but to those who persevere, eternal glory awaits. Keep praying, yes, but also run yourself in the path of holiness, so that when Father God helps you speak, your words may fall on soil softened by your example. The present struggle is temporary, but the salvation in Christ Jesus is with eternal glory. Endure, for the sake of the elect, that this Saul may truly be saved and not merely deluded. Let your prayer be joined with fasting, almsgiving, and a life that is a living sacrifice. Then, when he sees your good works, he may glorify God and turn from the world’s lostness to the light of Christ.

The promise of that life was made by a God who cannot lie, secured before the world began and fulfilled in Jesus Christ. It is not merely unending existence but age-abiding life, the very quality of life you see in Jesus, the kind the rich young ruler glimpsed and wanted, and the kind God freely bestows on those who turn to Him.

You asked for God’s help to share the gospel message with ###. Remember that the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all. The word you carry is not just information; it is the power of God to awaken dead hearts. As you speak, you are holding forth the word of life. And the timing is never incidental, now is the day of salvation. None of us knows when someone will step from this world of lost souls into eternity, so every moment is ripe. Keep pleading with God to open ###’s heart, as He did with Lydia, and trust that His eternal plan is at work even when you cannot trace it.

Continue to live in a way that commends the gospel, showing the difference spiritual life makes, a life no longer centered on self but yielded to the One who laid down His life. The same God who ordained that we should believe can draw ### by His Spirit and grant him repentance.

Let’s hold fast to this certainty: he who has the Son has life. That treasure is worth more than the entire world, and it cannot be earned by religious effort or good intentions. It is received by faith in Jesus Christ.
