Disciple of Prayer
Pray for me and my 3 kids and fiance ### divided my home my fiance left and my oldest son, my mental oppression is so bad a lot of torment cannot think for myself, barley sleep body afflictions, things breaking in my house always fighting with my fiance that he’s cheating with everyone and I can’t control the thoughts or feeling, lost my job I don’t work, I can’t smell, bad addiction, paranoia, torment, depression hopelessness despair feelings no energy I feel like My life is over please please pray! I’ve searched and listened to the word for years and nothing has gotten better

We hear the depth of your pain and the weight of the spiritual battle you are enduring. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ to rebuke these attacks and declare God’s victory over your life and your children’s lives. The torment, oppression, and afflictions you describe are not from the Lord—they are the works of the devil, and we command them to flee in the name of Jesus. The Bible tells us in James 4:7, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* You are not alone in this fight, and we take up the sword of the Spirit with you to cut down every lie, every spirit of division, and every attack on your mind, body, and home.

First, we must address the foundation of your faith. You mention searching and listening to the Word for years, but we must ask: Have you fully surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? Have you confessed Him not just as a teacher or a guide, but as the Son of God who died for your sins and rose again, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12)? If you have not, or if there is any doubt, we urge you to cry out to Him now. Romans 10:9 says, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Salvation is not just about knowing the Word—it is about being born again in Christ, receiving His Spirit, and walking in the power of His resurrection. Without this, the enemy has legal ground to harass you, but in Christ, you have authority over every demonic force.

Now, regarding your fiancé and your home, we must speak truth with love. The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, and it is meant to reflect Christ’s relationship with the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). Living together outside of marriage—what Scripture calls fornication—opens the door to spiritual attack, division, and strife. The enemy thrives in environments where God’s design is disregarded, and the torment you are experiencing in your mind and home may be a direct result of this. We do not say this to condemn you, but to call you to repentance and alignment with God’s will. 1 Corinthians 6:18 warns, *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."* If you and your fiancé are believers, we urge you to either marry in the Lord or separate until you can do so in a way that honors Him. This is not about legalism—it is about closing the door to the enemy’s influence.

The accusations and paranoia you describe—believing your fiancé is cheating, the inability to control your thoughts—are classic tactics of the enemy to sow discord and despair. 2 Corinthians 10:5 tells us to *"take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ."* You must reject these lies and replace them with God’s truth. Speak Scripture aloud over your mind: *"God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind"* (2 Timothy 1:7). The torment you feel is not your identity—it is a spiritual attack, and we command it to cease in Jesus’ name.

Your physical afflictions, the loss of your job, and the financial strain are also under the blood of Jesus. We declare healing over your body, restoration over your finances, and provision over your household. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* But we must also encourage you to take practical steps. Seek medical help for your physical symptoms, reach out to your church or Christian community for support, and take steps to regain employment. God often works through His people, and isolation only strengthens the enemy’s hold.

For your children, we pray protection over their minds, hearts, and spirits. The enemy seeks to divide families, but we declare that your home will be a place of peace, unity, and godly order. Train your children in the ways of the Lord (Proverbs 22:6) and cover them in prayer daily. Your oldest son, in particular, needs your intercession. Pray for his heart to be guarded against rebellion, bitterness, or the lies of the enemy. If there has been strife between you, seek reconciliation in humility, as Colossians 3:13 instructs: *"bear with one another, and forgive each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do."*

Your addiction is another area where the enemy has gained a foothold. Whether it is substance abuse, pornography, or any other bondage, we declare freedom in Jesus’ name. 1 Corinthians 10:13 promises, *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."* You are not powerless—you have the Holy Spirit living within you, and He is greater than any addiction. Seek accountability, remove triggers from your life, and fill your mind with God’s Word. If you need professional help, do not hesitate to pursue it. There is no shame in fighting for your freedom.

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name. We lift up our sister and her children to You, Lord, and we declare that the enemy’s plans for destruction are thwarted by the blood of Jesus. We rebuke every spirit of torment, oppression, depression, and division in this home. We command every lying spirit to flee, every accusation to be silenced, and every physical affliction to be healed. Lord, we ask that You break the chains of addiction and set her free from every bondage.

Father, we pray for a fresh infilling of Your Holy Spirit. Where there is despair, bring hope. Where there is fear, bring Your perfect love. Where there is confusion, bring clarity and a sound mind. We ask that You restore her sense of smell, Lord, and heal her body from every affliction. Provide for her financially, open doors for employment, and surround her with godly community. For her fiancé, we pray for repentance and alignment with Your will. If it is Your plan for them to marry, let it be done in a way that honors You. If not, give her the strength to let go and trust You for her future.

For her children, we pray protection and peace. Guard their hearts from bitterness, rebellion, or the lies of the enemy. Draw them closer to You, Lord, and let this family be a testimony of Your faithfulness. We declare that this home will no longer be a battleground but a sanctuary of Your presence. Fill it with Your peace, Your joy, and Your provision.

Lord, we ask that You reveal any areas where the enemy has gained legal ground—whether through sin, unforgiveness, or disobedience—and lead her to repentance. Cleanse her heart, renew her mind, and restore her soul. Let her know that her life is not over, but that You have plans for her, plans for good and not for evil, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

We thank You, Father, that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We thank You that the battle is already won in Jesus’ name. Strengthen her faith, deepen her trust in You, and let her walk in the victory that is hers through Christ. We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Him who loved her (Romans 8:37).

In the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Dear friend, we're here with you, standing in the gap. We've felt the weight of your burden and the depth of your pain. We're not just praying for you, we're praying with you. We're claiming the victory that Jesus won for us on the cross over your life and your children's lives.

First, we want to remind you of your strength in Christ. You're not fighting alone. Ephesians 6:10 tells us to be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. That power is available to you right now. You've been through a lot, but remember, God is faithful. He hasn't abandoned you. In fact, He's been with you all this time, fighting for you.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face. Keep pressing into Him. Keep reading His Word. Keep praying. He's listening, and He's moving. We claim Psalm 34:18 over you, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

For your home, we pray for unity and peace. We ask God to heal any divisions and to fill your home with His love and joy. We pray for your fiancé, that God would soften his heart and draw him closer to Him. We ask God to give you wisdom in how to move forward in your relationship.

We also want to pray for your physical health. We claim Isaiah 53:5 over you, "By his wounds we are healed." We ask God to touch your body and bring healing and restoration.

For your children, we pray protection over their minds, hearts, and spirits. We ask God to guard them from the enemy's lies and to fill them with His truth and love.

We're believing with you for a turnaround in your situation. We claim 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 over you, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God."

Keep fighting the good fight, dear friend. Keep your eyes on Jesus. He's got you, and He's got your family. We're standing with you, praying with you, and believing with you for a breakthrough.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
