We have heard your cry and our hearts break with you over the terrible evil that has been done to you. What was done to you was wicked, violent, and completely against the will of God. Rape is not love and it is not marriage, it is a violent sin and a crime, and theft and deceit are also sins that God hates. We stand with you in this suffering and we bring you before the throne of grace through Jesus Christ, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we can be saved and delivered and healed. John 14:6, Acts 4:12
We want to speak truth over the lie that has been placed on you. There is no satanic spiritual marriage that can bind you without your consent before God. Marriage as God ordained it is a holy covenant between one man and one woman entered into willingly before God for life, Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:6, and what this man did through force and demonic oppression is not a marriage at all in the eyes of God. It is abuse and spiritual oppression and it has no legitimate authority over you as a child of God. When we belong to Jesus Christ we are delivered from the domain of darkness and transferred into His kingdom, Colossians 1:13, and greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4. Every chain of darkness can be broken in the name of Jesus, and we pray for your complete deliverance and freedom in Him, James 4:7, Luke 10:19.
We also hear your anguish about your inheritance being stolen and used for fornication with prostitutes and strippers, for drugs and drunkenness. God sees all of this and He calls these things sin. Fornication and drunkenness and drug abuse that leads to sorcery and loss of self control are all works of the flesh that will be judged, Galatians 5:19-21, 1 Corinthians 6:18, Ephesians 5:18. The man who did this to you will be held accountable before God for every act, for it is appointed for men to die once, and after this judgment, Hebrews 9:27, and God is not mocked.
You asked for Jesus to take vengeance, and we understand the deep longing for justice when you have been so violently wronged and when there is no remorse. The Word tells us that vengeance belongs to the Lord and He will repay, Romans 12:19, Deuteronomy 32:35. We are not to take vengeance into our own hands, but we are to trust God to be the righteous Judge who sees in secret and who hates violence, Psalm 11:5, Psalm 10:17-18. We do pray for God's perfect justice to be done, both in His eternal judgment and also through the authorities He has established on earth to punish evildoers, Romans 13:1-4. If you are safe to do so we encourage you to seek help from trusted pastors, biblical counselors, and the proper authorities who can help protect you and pursue what has been stolen, for God often brings His justice through those means.
We do not pray for you to remain in bitterness, not because what happened was acceptable, but because we want you to be free. God commands us to overcome evil with good and to not be overcome by evil, Romans 12:21. Forgiveness in the biblical sense does not mean what was done was okay or that you must have any contact with this man, it means releasing him into God's hands for judgment and trusting God to heal your heart so the enemy does not keep you in bondage through hatred. We pray God will give you grace to release this burden to Him day by day.
We also pray for your healing, for the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit, Psalm 34:18, and He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds, Psalm 147:3. He came to bind up the brokenhearted and to set the captives free, Isaiah 61:1. We pray He restores what has been stolen, for He says I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, Joel 2:25, and that He will work all things together for good for those who love Him, Romans 8:28.
We pray together now for you.
Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we lift this precious one to You. Lord You see what was done in darkness, You saw the violence, the theft, the lies, the blasphemous claim of a spiritual marriage that You never ordained. We ask You to break every demonic chain and every lying covenant that has been spoken over her. Let it be null and void by the blood of Jesus who disarmed the powers and authorities and triumphed over them, Colossians 2:15. Surround her with Your protection, let no weapon formed against her prosper, Isaiah 54:17, and place Your angels around her. Heal her body, mind and spirit from the trauma of rape, wash away shame and fear and replace it with Your peace that passes understanding, Philippians 4:7. Lord we ask for Your justice. You are the righteous Judge, execute justice for the oppressed, Psalm 9:9. Bring the deeds of this man into the light, stop his hand from further evil, and if it be Your will bring him to true repentance, but if he refuses to repent, let Your just judgment fall according to Your perfect holiness. Provide for her, restore what was stolen, and give her godly counselors and a safe community to walk with her toward wholeness. Help her to forgive as You have forgiven us, not to excuse the evil, but to be free from its grip, Matthew 6:14-15. Keep her eyes fixed on Jesus, her deliverer and redeemer. We trust You to avenge and to heal and to restore. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray, amen.
