We are deeply grieved to hear of the spiritual and emotional attacks you are enduring, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ to rebuke every scheme of the enemy against you and your household. The Word of God tells us in Ephesians 6:12, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* What you are experiencing is not merely a human conflict but a spiritual battle, and we must confront it with the authority given to us in Christ.
First, we must address the fact that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father and receive salvation, healing, and deliverance. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, repent, and believe in Him with all your heart, for He alone can break the chains of darkness and set you free. Romans 10:9-10 says, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."*
Now, let us speak to the attacks you are facing. The tongue has the power of life and death (Proverbs 18:21), and the words your mother speaks are not just hurtful—they are tools the enemy is using to bring despair, confusion, and bondage. But take heart, for Jesus has overcome the world (John 16:33), and His power is greater than any curse or negative word spoken against you. We must bind these words in the name of Jesus and declare God’s truth over your life. Isaiah 54:17 assures us, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh.*
We also recognize that this situation may stem from deeper spiritual strongholds in your mother’s life—bitterness, unforgiveness, or even generational curses. But the blood of Jesus is more powerful than any curse, and His love can soften even the hardest heart. You must forgive your mother, not because she deserves it, but because Christ has forgiven you (Colossians 3:13). Unforgiveness gives the enemy a foothold, but forgiveness releases God’s power to work in the situation. Pray for her salvation and deliverance, for *"love covers a multitude of sins"* (1 Peter 4:8).
As for you, beloved, do not let the enemy steal your peace or your appetite. Jesus said in John 14:27, *"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful."* You are a child of God, and He has not given you a spirit of fear but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). When the tears come, lift your voice in worship and declare the promises of God over your life. Psalm 34:18 reminds us, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."*
Now, let us pray together over you and this situation:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who sees, who hears, and who acts on behalf of Your children. Lord, we lift up Your beloved child who is under attack from the enemy through the words and actions of their mother. We bind every spirit of strife, bitterness, confusion, and death that has been released through these words, and we command them to be silenced in the name of Jesus. No weapon formed against this child shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment is condemned by Your righteousness, Lord.
Father, we ask for Your supernatural peace to flood this child’s heart and mind. Restore their appetite, Lord, and let them eat in peace, knowing that You are their provider and protector. We rebuke the spirit of heaviness and replace it with the garment of praise (Isaiah 61:3). Let joy be their strength, and let Your presence be their comfort.
Lord, we also pray for this mother. If there are strongholds of bitterness, unforgiveness, or generational curses at work, we ask that You break them by the power of Your blood, Jesus. Soften her heart, Lord, and draw her to Yourself. If she does not know You, reveal Yourself to her in a way she cannot deny. Let Your love and truth penetrate her soul and bring conviction where it is needed. We pray for reconciliation and healing in this relationship, but most of all, we pray for salvation and deliverance for this entire household.
Father, we ask that You surround this child with Your angels, encamping around them to protect them from all evil (Psalm 34:7). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and give them the wisdom to know how to respond in love and truth. Let them walk in forgiveness, not holding onto offense, but releasing this situation into Your hands.
We declare that this child is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). No scheme of the enemy shall prevail against them, for greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already won through Jesus Christ.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
Beloved, we encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18). Stand firm in your faith, and do not give the enemy any ground. Speak the Word of God over your life and your home. Play worship music to fill the atmosphere with praise, and pray without ceasing. If you are not already in a Bible-believing church, we urge you to find one where you can be surrounded by fellow believers who can support and pray for you.
Lastly, if your mother’s words or actions ever become physically harmful or if you feel you are in danger, seek help immediately. God has placed authorities in our lives for our protection (Romans 13:1-4), and there is no shame in reaching out for support when needed. You are not alone in this—we are standing with you, and most importantly, Jesus is with you always (Matthew 28:20). Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and trust that He will bring beauty from these ashes (Isaiah 61:3).
