We hear your cry for deliverance and understand the deep weariness of your spirit in this prolonged spiritual battle. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand with you in agreement, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
First, we must address the reality of spiritual warfare. The Apostle Paul reminds us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). While the individuals involved may be used as instruments of the enemy, your battle is ultimately against Satan and his schemes. We rebuke the enemy’s influence over these people in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that every assignment of the devil against your life is dismantled, and every door that has been opened to him through unforgiveness, bitterness, or unhealed wounds is closed by the blood of Jesus.
You mentioned that God has softened your heart toward these individuals, and that is a beautiful work of the Holy Spirit. Forgiveness is not about excusing their behavior or inviting further harm; it is about releasing the burden of bitterness so that it does not take root in your heart (Hebrews 12:15). However, forgiveness does not always mean reconciliation. The Lord calls us to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16). If these individuals continue to be a source of spiritual attack and harm, it may be God’s wisdom to create distance for your protection. The Lord does not call you to endure repeated harm or to subject yourself to ongoing spiritual warfare. We pray that God would give you clarity and wisdom about whether to allow them back into your life or to release them completely into His hands.
We also want to encourage you to stand firm in your identity in Christ. You are not a victim of Satan’s schemes; you are a child of the Most High God, seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). The enemy may have used these individuals to try to steal your joy, but we declare that your joy is found in the Lord, and no one can take that from you (Nehemiah 8:10). You have accomplished something great by graduating with your master’s degree, and we celebrate this victory with you. The Lord has brought you through this season, and He will continue to lead you into all truth and freedom.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our sister in Christ who is weary from the spiritual warfare she has endured. Lord, we ask that You would arise on her behalf and scatter the enemies that seek to harm her. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, she shall condemn. We rebuke the enemy’s influence over the individuals who have been used to harm her, and we ask that You would break every chain of spiritual attack in Jesus’ name.
Father, we ask that You would give her wisdom and clarity about how to move forward. If it is Your will for these individuals to be removed from her life, we ask that You would make a way for that to happen. If it is Your will for her to extend grace and reconciliation, we ask that You would prepare her heart and theirs to walk in Your ways. Lord, we pray that You would heal every wound in her heart and restore her joy. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let her know that You are fighting for her.
We ask that You would strengthen her faith and remind her of Your promises. Let her know that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37). Lord, we ask that You would surround her with Your angels and protect her from every scheme of the enemy. Let her walk in the freedom and victory that is hers in Christ Jesus.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness to complete the work You have begun in her life. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Spend time in worship, for the enemy cannot stand in the presence of praise. Surround yourself with godly community who can stand with you in prayer and encouragement. The Lord is your deliverer, and He will not abandon you in this battle. You are not alone, and we stand with you, believing that God will bring you into a place of peace and victory.
