Sandy And Bobby

Bobby and Sandy have been exclusively dating for a few years now. Bobby has his inner demons when it concerns women and has been clubbing with and dating other woman behind Sandy's back passing them off as friends. The affair he had last year was the longest but he did go back to Sandy. They struggled but seem to be happy until rumors started circulating again about him seeing that other woman secretly. The other woman seem to be not willing to let him go.

I really want to pray for the other woman as much as for Sandy and Bobby. Perhaps a generous realization on her part that she's breaking up a beautiful relationship here. I pray that she'll find a man of her own to make her happy so that she'll not chase after Bobby any more.

For Bobby, I pray that he'll learn to love Sandy according to our Lord's way and become more loyal and devoted to her by not entertaining advances from other women. For him to be able to resist temptation, to be more sincere in his words and action, to ask for forgiveness, and really mean it and not to do this again.

For Sandy, I pray that all her words, thoughts, and actions in relation to these circumstances will always be pleasing to our Lord. That she'll have His wisdom that will give her courage, strength, patience, understanding, humility, peace, and of course love and forgiveness.

I really want all of them to be happy in accordance with our Lord's will.

Please help me to pray for the three of them.

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank you. Two simple words that mean much to me as I was fortunate to witness Your all effacing love, wisdom and power unfurl before me. I saw the two of them struggle these past few weeks but these past two days I was happy to see Bobby and Sandy wear their couple rings again. I can sense their happiness although I was hesitant to believe it at first. Lord, thank you for allowing me to witness Your loving miracle in the relationship of these two people.

I don't really want to think that there will still be struggles in the relationship between these two in the future. Sometimes even I, as an outsider looking in,feel already burdened what more they and the people who are closer to them. I really pray for a progression in maturity in this relationship with the kind of love that only You, Lord Jesus, could have designed. The love that is patient, kind, forgiving, nurturing, protecting, sincere and honest. The kind that is worthy of You, Lord Jesus. And may their promise of forever continued to be strengthen by You, Lord Jesus, way into their marriage and family life.

Yes, I really need to continue to pray for the other woman. Although I sometimes waver and wish her to reap what she partly sown but no, she is also Your child and she also deserves forgiveness. I really claim in Your name. Lord Jesus, her conviction and change.

Sometimes, I think of Bobby as hopeless and wish that Sandy leaves this emotionally abusive relationship but I see how she really loves him, and how she never gives up on him. But nothing is really hopeless with You Lord Jesus, isn't it? I know that You'll convict and make him walk his talk, and keep his promise of forever. He is a cunning young man, so articulate with words,and with his wealth and power, I feel he had too much too soon. Oftentimes, when I'm angry with what he did, I wish him to be humbled but then I realized maybe it's because he is broken that's why he is not anymore attuned to You and Your ways. I pray, he'll be made whole again bursting with Your love, wisdom, and truth.

I know Sandy is not perfect. But maybe because I love her so much I tend to be bias about it. Lord Jesus, I know You can search into her heart, mind and soul and find these weaknesses that gets in her way as a broken person and how it affects her relationship with Bobby and others. Please, Lord, teach her and guide her, to win over them.

Please help Bobby and Sandy not to be feel lonely again by bringing them closer into Your loving presence. Cleanse them, infill them, and shield them, Lord Jesus.
