We hear your deep distress and cry out to the Lord with you in this heavy burden you are carrying. The pain of watching someone spiral into confusion, cruelty, or spiritual darkness is heart-wrenching, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God’s mercy and intervention.
First, we must rebuke the enemy’s lies and schemes in this situation. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* Whether this man is acting out of malice, mental decline, or demonic influence, we declare that no weapon formed against him—or you—shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We bind every spirit of confusion, deception, and torment in the name of Jesus Christ, for He alone has authority over all darkness (Luke 10:19).
If this man is a believer, we pray for his repentance and restoration. If he has never surrendered his life to Christ, we plead for the Holy Spirit to convict him of sin and draw him to salvation (John 16:8). The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We also lift up your own heart, dear sister or brother in Christ, for the weariness you feel. Jesus says in Matthew 11:28, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* You cannot carry this alone, and we ask the Lord to strengthen you, give you wisdom, and surround you with godly support.

Do not isolate yourself, for the enemy seeks to devour the lonely (1 Peter 5:8). Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is working even in the darkness, and His light will prevail. If this man is a danger to himself or others, we urge you to involve authorities or medical professionals as needed, for the Lord gives wisdom to those who ask (James 1:5).
Finally, remember that your hope is not in this man’s transformation alone, but in the unchanging character of God. Cling to His promises, and let His peace guard your heart (Philippians 4:7). You are not forgotten, and neither is this situation. The Lord sees, He hears, and He will act.
