Salvation
We lift up the natives before the throne of grace, asking that the light of the gospel pierce every darkness surrounding them. Father, we know that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). We pray that Your Word would be proclaimed among them, whether through dreams, visions, or the faithful witness of believers. Send Your Holy Spirit to convict hearts of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), that they may turn to Jesus Christ as their only Lord and Savior.
Lord, we rebuke every spiritual stronghold that blinds them to the truth of the gospel. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that they may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We plead the blood of Jesus over every tribe, tongue, and nation among them, asking that You break every chain of unbelief and idolatry. Let Your angels minister to them, as You did for Cornelius in Acts 10, preparing their hearts to receive the good news.
We declare that salvation belongs to the Lord (Psalm 3:8), and we trust in Your promise that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:13). Father, raise up laborers for the harvest among the people, that they may hear the name of Jesus and be saved. May they not only believe but also be discipled in Your truth, growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We pray for their protection as they come to faith, that they would not be swayed by false teachings or persecution. Strengthen them to stand firm in the faith, rooted and built up in Christ (Colossians 2:7). May their lives be a testimony to Your glory, drawing others to You.

We’re honored to pray with you for the people you’ve named. Your longing for them to know Jesus and be ready for His return is a beautiful reflection of God’s own heart. You’re not asking for something far-fetched, all over the world, even today, we hear accounts of people who encounter Christ through dreams and visions, especially in places where the gospel is hard to access through ordinary means. It’s one of the ways the Holy Spirit reaches past language, culture, and isolation to draw hearts to the Savior. Your prayer is rooted in that hope, and we stand with you in it.
A practical step might be to set aside a few minutes each day this week specifically to intercede for these people by name or region. You could also look into mission organizations working among them and sign up for their prayer updates, knowing what God is already doing on the ground can fuel your prayers with more specific focus. Sometimes just writing down a Scripture promise, like Joel 2:28 about God pouring out His Spirit and giving dreams, helps keep our hearts anchored when we don’t see the results yet.
But whether you take any of these steps or simply keep crying out as you have been, your prayers matter. God listens, and He answers in His own time and way, often beyond what we can plan or imagine.

It is a blessed thing to bring this request before the throne of grace, for there is no salvation in any other than Jesus Christ, and His precious blood speaks better things than that of Abel. The blood of Jesus pleads for mercy, not vengeance, and it is the one fountain opened for sin and uncleanness. To pray that these people be covered and surrounded by that blood is to ask that its atoning power be applied to their hearts by the Holy Spirit. The blood shed must become the blood sprinkled upon the conscience, and this is the work of God alone. Salvation is of the Lord from first to last; no human will can contrive it, nor can any dreams or visions save apart from the truth of the Gospel. Yet God, who is rich in mercy, may stoop to use such means to awaken the slumbering soul, just as He sends His providences and His Word to draw men to Christ.
Let us never forget that faith is the gift of Christ, and repentance is wrought by His Spirit. We cannot hope in signs and wonders as the ground of salvation, but we may ask the Lord to use whatever means He pleases to make these people ready for His coming. The great reality is the truth of God’s salvation: that Jesus died for sinners and rose again, and that all who come to Him are received, for there is now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus. Urge them, then, to come, always coming, to this living stone, disallowed of men but chosen of God. The Gospel is not a message of terror but of glad tidings; how beautiful are the feet of them that preach it! Let our prayers be joined with earnest witness, that the Holy Spirit may convict of sin and reveal the righteousness of Christ. Salvation is all of grace, a door of hope set before the chief of sinners. Today is the day of salvation; let none delay. Cry mightily that the Lord would bring them to the blood of sprinkling, that they may be washed, justified, and made ready as a people prepared for the Bridegroom’s return.

It is a mark of a soul truly alive in Christ when the flame of intercession burns not only for oneself but for those yet dwelling in the shadow of death. For what is our war if not the bitterest of all engagements? And in this battle, the soldier who looks only to his own safety destroys others and, in the end, himself as well. We are commanded to stand in the breach, cheering the fainting and raising up the fallen. Therefore, your request for these natives is a holy and apostolic work.
You cry out that they be covered with the Blood of Jesus. This is the only covering that can hide our nakedness from the divine judgment. Remember, without the shedding of blood there is no remission. The blood of bulls and goats was a shadow, but Christ entered the holy place with His own blood, obtaining eternal redemption. To pray this is to plead the one sacrifice that cleanses the conscience from dead works.
You also invoke the power of the Holy Spirit. Rightly so, for no man can say Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit. The Spirit is the unction that teaches all things, the very earnest of our inheritance. When He is poured out, as the prophet Joel declared, then sons and daughters prophesy, and the old dream dreams, the young see visions. So your prayer for dreams and visions is not in vain. In the early dawn of the gospel, when the Sun of Righteousness first arose, such signs flourished for the sake of aliens, that the nations might be drawn from dumb idols to the living God. But do not rest entirely on these. The Lord has made a short word upon the earth: if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. So while you pray for supernatural interventions, also pray that laborers be sent into that harvest, and be ready yourself to speak the word of truth.
Yet let no one think that these natives are beyond the reach of mercy. If the fall of the Jews meant riches for the Gentiles, how much more their fulness? Even so, these who now sit in darkness may soon become children of light. Strive, then, to pour out your own soul in supplication, considering that the whole world is God’s province, and He desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Let your life commend the gospel you pray for. Let your own blood be ready to be poured out as a drink offering, not by shedding another’s, but by daily dying to self, so that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. May the Lord hasten that day when together we shall see them arrayed in white robes, washed in the blood of the Lamb, made ready for His glorious appearing.
