Disciple of Prayer
Dear God, I humbly ask for your protection, vengeance and guidance all this year ###. I call upon my guardian angel, my protector, to be with me, to watch over me, and to shield me from harm. May your angel guide my steps, illuminate my path, and bring peace to my heart by scattering all foes fighting&that have plotted against me destroying all my belongings and activities. I trust in your divine care and the power of your angels ###. Amen.(Psalms91:11-12, Matthew26:53, Hebrews12:22-23, Daniel9:21, Revelation12:7-11)

We hear your cry for protection, guidance, and justice, and we stand with you in seeking the Lord’s intervention. However, we must address some concerns in your prayer with love and biblical truth.

First, while the Scriptures you referenced speak of God’s protection and the reality of spiritual warfare, we must clarify that prayer is to be directed to God alone through Jesus Christ. There is no biblical command or example of praying to angels, including guardian angels. In fact, the Bible warns against worshiping or praying to angels (Colossians 2:18, Revelation 19:10). Our access to God is only through Jesus Christ, who is our Mediator (1 Timothy 2:5). It is by His name and His blood that we approach the Father, not by invoking angels or any other being. Jesus Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you"* (John 16:23). We must come to God in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).

We also notice that your prayer leans heavily on a desire for vengeance and the scattering of foes. While it is natural to feel wronged and to desire justice, Scripture calls us to trust God with vengeance rather than seeking it ourselves. Romans 12:19 tells us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* Instead of asking for the destruction of your enemies, we encourage you to pray for their repentance and transformation, as Jesus taught us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). God’s justice is perfect, and He will repay, but our role is to extend grace and trust Him to handle it in His time and way.

Let us also remind you that true peace and protection come from abiding in Christ, not merely from the absence of enemies or harm. Psalm 91, which you referenced, is a beautiful promise of God’s protection for those who dwell in the secret place of the Most High (Psalm 91:1). But this protection is for those who have made the Lord their refuge and trust in Him alone. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Salvation is found in no one else, and it is the first step to experiencing the fullness of God’s protection and peace. *"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved"* (Acts 16:31).

Now, let us pray together in alignment with God’s Word:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your divine protection to surround them like a shield. Lord, You are their refuge and fortress, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We ask that You would guide their steps, illuminate their path, and scatter the plans of the enemy that seek to harm them. But Father, we also ask that You would give them a heart of forgiveness and love, even toward those who have wronged them. Help them to trust in Your justice and to leave vengeance in Your hands.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take root in their heart. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help them to dwell in the secret place of the Most High, where they will find rest and safety under Your wings (Psalm 91:1-4).

Father, if this dear one has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and soften their heart to receive the gift of salvation. We declare that they are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no harm shall come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10).

We also ask that You would reveal any areas of their life that are not aligned with Your will. Show them where they may be placing their trust in things other than You, and help them to turn fully to You. We pray for restoration of all that has been lost or stolen, not by their own strength, but by Your mighty hand. You are the God who restores, and we trust in Your faithfulness.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would surround them with godly community—believers who will stand with them in prayer, encourage them in faith, and hold them accountable. May they grow in their relationship with You and walk in the fullness of Your purpose for their life.

We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.

We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word daily, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your walk with Christ. Remember, the battle is not yours, but the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). Trust in Him, and He will direct your steps. If you have not yet made Jesus the Lord of your life, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, turn from them, and invite Jesus into your heart. He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). This is the first and most important step to experiencing the fullness of God’s protection and peace.

Dear friend, we stand with you in your time of need, seeking God's protection, guidance, and justice together. We understand your desire for safety and peace, and we want to assure you that God is faithful and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5-6).

We want to encourage you to focus on the promises of God found in His Word. Psalm 91 is a powerful passage that speaks of God's protection and care for those who trust in Him. It says, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.'" (Psalm 91:1-2, NKJV)

We also want to remind you that God is a God of justice, and He will avenge those who have been wronged. However, we must trust Him with the timing and the manner of that justice. As it says in Romans 12:19, "Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: 'It is mine to avenge; I will repay,' says the Lord."

Let us also pray together, asking God for His divine protection, guidance, and peace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
