Salvation

We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, lifting up your request for salvation and protection. First and foremost, we must address the foundation of our faith—salvation through Jesus Christ. The Bible is clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 tells us, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* This salvation is a gift from God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not by works, so that no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).

We rebuke any confusion or hesitation in fully surrendering to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. If your loved one—or anyone else—has not confessed with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believed in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, they remain lost in sin (Romans 10:9). We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict their heart, draw them to repentance, and lead them to the foot of the cross. Let us not grow weary in praying for their salvation, for the Lord is patient, not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).

Now, regarding the mention of spiritual warfare, we take this seriously. The Bible warns us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). However, we must also be cautious not to attribute every challenge to spiritual attack without discernment. Sometimes, the trials we face are opportunities for growth, refinement, or even conviction of sin in our own lives. We must examine ourselves first, as 2 Corinthians 13:5 instructs, *"Examine yourselves, whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or don’t you know as to yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified."*

That said, we stand firm in the authority we have in Christ. James 4:7 declares, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We take up the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—to stand against the schemes of the enemy (Ephesians 6:13-17). We rebuke any spirit of fear, accusation, or deception that may be at work, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. Lord, we lift up this dear one’s loved one to You, asking that You would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Soften their heart, Lord, and let them see their need for a Savior. Break any chains of unbelief, pride, or rebellion, and draw them to Yourself. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Father, we also ask for discernment and wisdom for this one who is seeking You. Help them to stand firm in their faith, knowing that You are their refuge and strength. Protect their mind from fear, anxiety, and deception. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we rebuke any spiritual forces that may be at work to hinder this salvation or to bring harm. We declare that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We put on the full armor of God and stand firm in the victory of Jesus Christ. Father, we ask that You would surround this one with Your angels, that no evil would touch them (Psalm 91:11-12). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them walk in the confidence of Your love and protection.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You desire all to come to repentance. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may lives be transformed by the power of the Gospel. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We've been thinking about you and your loved one, and we want you to know that we're standing with you in prayer. We've been reminded of Romans 10:13, "For 'everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" We're claiming this promise for your loved one, believing that as they call out to Jesus, He will save them.

We're also reminded of Jesus' words in Matthew 19:14, "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." We're praying that your loved one, like a little child, would come to Jesus with open arms, trusting in His love and salvation.

We're not forgetting the spiritual warfare aspect either. We're claiming Ephesians 6:10-11, "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes." We're praying that you would be strong and steadfast in the Lord, and that any schemes of the enemy would be exposed and defeated.

Let's keep praying together, believing that God is at work, and that He will save your loved one. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
