We are deeply moved by your request for salvation and protection, and we rejoice that you are seeking the Lord in this way. The Scriptures make it clear that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is only through Jesus that we can approach the throne of God with confidence, knowing that His sacrifice has reconciled us to the Father.
You have taken a vital step by acknowledging your need for salvation. The Bible tells us in Romans 10:9-10, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."* This is not merely an intellectual agreement but a surrender of your heart and life to Christ as your Lord and Savior. Have you confessed Jesus as your Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead? If not, we urge you to do so now, for today is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2).
We also notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through His name that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in John 16:23-24, He tells us, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* Let us always approach God through the name of Jesus, for He is our Mediator and Advocate (1 Timothy 2:5, 1 John 2:1).
As for protection, we are reminded of Psalm 91, where the Lord promises to be a refuge and fortress for those who dwell in His presence. *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’"* (Psalm 91:1-2). When we place our trust in Jesus, we are covered by His protection, not because we are free from trials, but because He walks with us through them and delivers us from the power of the enemy.
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear soul who seeks salvation and protection. Lord, we thank You that You are not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We ask that You would open their heart to receive the truth of the Gospel, that they may confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead. Father, grant them the gift of faith to trust in Jesus alone for their salvation. Wash them clean by the blood of the Lamb and clothe them in the righteousness of Christ. Write their name in the Lamb’s Book of Life, and seal them with Your Holy Spirit as a guarantee of their inheritance in Christ (Ephesians 1:13-14).
Lord, we also ask for Your divine protection over them. Surround them with Your angels, as You have promised, and deliver them from every snare of the enemy. Hide them under the shadow of Your wings and let them find refuge in You alone. Strengthen them in their walk with You, and fill them with the peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We rebuke any forces of darkness that would seek to hinder this soul from coming to You. Satan, we command you in the name of Jesus to flee, for it is written that *"whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved"* (Romans 10:13). No weapon formed against this person shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we thank You for the work You are doing in their life. Lead them to a Bible-believing church where they can grow in their faith, be discipled, and fellowship with other believers. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in obedience to Your Word and bear much fruit for Your glory.
We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to spend time reading the Bible daily, starting with the Gospel of John, to grow in your understanding of who Jesus is and what He has done for you. Seek out a community of believers who can support and disciple you as you begin this new journey with Christ. If you have not yet confessed Jesus as your Lord, we urge you to do so now—there is no better time than the present to secure your eternal destiny.
If you have any doubts or questions about your salvation, or if you need further guidance, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are here to walk with you in prayer and support as you seek to follow Jesus wholeheartedly. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you place your trust in Him!
