My friend Alfredo Alvarez has a painful childhood past and keeps running from God. He takes 3 steps forward and then 10 steps back. He is hurting and angry at God. Because of his anger about his past, he will not completely surrender his heart to God and walk in His footsteps. It has been so hard for me to stand fast and believe for Alfredo on my own, so now I ask for your prayers and intersession.
Pray for healing and restoration of his past. Pray that any strongholds will be broke over his life. Pray that Alfredo will have the courage to take the steps necessary to receive healing of his heart and allow God to restore the years that have been stolen from him. I'm believing God to manifest Himself to Alfredo in a way that Alfredo can no longer doubt Gods hand on his life. I'm believing to see Alfredo surrender completely to The Lord and give his heart at the altar at church. Pray that the blinders the enemy tries to put in Alfredo's path, to block him from coming fully to The Lord will be destroyed and that The Lord will send Godly influences into His life to encourage and build him up. Pray that the hearts of those who would influence Alfredo in a positive way would be quickened even as we pray, to go and plant those seeds of righteousness into Alfredo's heart.
