We join you in lifting up your mother and brother before the Lord, interceding for their salvation through Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven by which we must be saved. The Scriptures declare in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that anyone can enter the kingdom of heaven, and we earnestly pray that their hearts will be turned toward Him.
The Word of God reminds us in Ezekiel 36:26, *"I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."* We plead with the Lord to do this mighty work in their lives—softening their hearts, convicting them of sin, and drawing them into repentance and faith. It is not His will that any should perish but that all would come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Let us also remember Romans 10:1, which says, *"Brothers, my heart’s desire and my prayer to God is for Israel, that they may be saved."* Your love for your family reflects this godly desire, and we stand with you in this spiritual battle for their souls.
We also pray that the Lord would reveal to them anything in their lives that is not pleasing to Him. If there is unrepentant sin, rebellion, or hardness of heart, we ask that the Holy Spirit would bring conviction and lead them to turn away from it. Proverbs 28:13 tells us, *"He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy."* May they experience the mercy of God as they turn to Him in full surrender.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved mother and brother. Lord, You alone can change hearts and save souls. We ask that You would open their eyes to see the truth of the Gospel, that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died for their sins and rose again so that they might have eternal life. Draw them to Yourself, Lord, and do not let them resist Your call. Break every chain of sin, every stronghold of the enemy, and every distraction that keeps them from coming to You. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in obedience and faith all the days of their lives.
We also pray for this dear one who is interceding for their family. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and fill them with Your peace as they trust You to work in the lives of their loved ones. Remind them that Your timing is perfect and that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun (Philippians 1:6). Give them opportunities to share the Gospel with their mother and brother, and grant them the words to speak that will point them to Christ.
Lord, we ask that You would bring them into the kingdom of heaven together as a family, united in faith and love for You. May they one day stand before You, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, and hear You say, *"Well done, good and faithful servant."* We pray all these things in the powerful and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
