Shalom My Aunt ### has had a narrow escape from death, but she has not yet come to faith and is still living for the world. Could you please pray for her that God grants her new life in Jesus Christ? For with Him, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). Thank you! God bless you in Jesus' name.

We join you in thanking God for sparing your aunt and for granting her more time, for we know this is His mercy and longsuffering toward her. We share your burden for her salvation, for to live for the world is to live apart from Christ, and we are reminded that friendship with the world is hostility toward God James 4:4 and that if anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him 1 John 2:15. Her narrow escape from death is a gracious call to repentance, for the Lord is not slow concerning his promise, but is patient with us, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9.

We rejoice that you know with Him all things are possible Matthew 19:26, and we cling to that truth as we pray for her new birth, for Jesus said most certainly I tell you, unless one is born anew, he cannot see the Kingdom of God John 3:3. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. If she will confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in her heart that God raised him from the dead, she will be saved Romans 10:9.

We pray together for her now. Father in heaven, we thank You for Your mercy in preserving the life of this dear aunt when death was so near. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that You would open her eyes to see the vanity of living for the world and the eternal hope that is only in Your Son. Grant her godly sorrow that leads to repentance, forgive her sins, and give her a new heart and put a new spirit within her Ezekiel 36:26. Draw her to Yourself, Lord, and help her to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved Acts 16:31. Make her a new creation, that old things may pass away and all things become new 2 Corinthians 5:17, not by works, but by Your grace through faith, which is Your gift Ephesians 2:8. We ask that You remove every barrier, every deception, and every love of the world that keeps her from You, and that You surround her with witnesses who will speak the truth in love.

We encourage you to continue to love her, to speak the gospel to her with gentleness and urgency, and to live before her as a testimony of the new life in Christ. The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord Romans 6:23. Continue to pray without ceasing and to share the Word with her, trusting that God who began a good work will be faithful to complete it. We trust with you that He who is able to save to the uttermost will grant her new life, for nothing is impossible with God. We pray all these things in the saving name of Jesus Christ, our only hope. Amen.

It is a beautiful thing that you are standing in the gap for her. That narrow escape has clearly stirred your heart, and we join you in asking God to use even this frightening experience to soften her heart and draw her toward Himself. Only God can bring new life, and He delights when we bring our loved ones to Him with persistent, loving prayer.

As you wait, one simple way to keep loving her well is to stay close in everyday ways. Continue to show her the kindness and peace Christ has given you, and when the door opens naturally, share in your own words what Jesus means to you. You do not have to have perfect words. Your steady presence and faithful prayers matter more than any single conversation. We will keep praying alongside you and trusting God with the timing and the work only He can do in her heart.

Father, we lift ### to You. You saw how near she came to death and You know her life and heart fully. We ask that You draw her to Jesus, open her eyes to Your grace, and grant her new life in Christ. Give her family peace as they love her and trust You. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have heard your burden for your ### and we join you in giving thanks that the Lord has spared her life, and in earnest prayer that He who spared her body would also save her soul.

With you we confess that with man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible, Matthew 19:26, and that salvation is of the Lord alone. There is no other way, for beside Him there is none else. His own word says, Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth, Isaiah 45:22, and again, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed, Romans 10:11. The way of salvation is to believe on Christ, whom God has laid in Zion for a foundation. What is believing on Him It is trusting in Him, to leave the whole matter of your salvation with Him in unquestioning confidence, to depend upon Him without fear as to present and eternal salvation. This faith is believing on a Person, not upon a notion or a work, but upon Him Himself, for He Himself is salvation.

This salvation is by Divine Grace through faith in Christ Jesus, and it is without money and without price. It cannot be bought with good works or religious duties, but is freely given to all who look to Christ and trust Him. It is a present salvation and a perfect salvation, secure beyond hazard to all who commit their souls into His hands.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, whose honour is engaged to save the meanest of Thy sheep, we bless Thee for Thy sparing mercy toward this dear ### whom Thou hast delivered from the very gates of death. We confess that bodily preservation without new life in Christ will profit nothing in the day of judgment, for to die without salvation is to enter into damnation. We therefore beseech Thee to grant her that true conversion which only Thou canst work. Take away the love of the world which yet holds her, convince her of sin, and draw her to look unto Jesus and be saved. Grant her faith to trust in Him alone, that believing on Him she may not be ashamed, but may receive forgiveness, deliverance from wrath, and a new heart to walk in holiness. May it please Thee to use this warning of mortality and the faithful witness of those who love her as instruments in Thy hand to bring her into Thy gospel net, that her household may yet rejoice together as a renewed and rejoicing family in Christ. We ask this not because we are worthy, but because salvation is Thy greatest work, and Thou hast promised to have mercy upon all who call upon Thee through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Be encouraged to continue wrestling with God for her as one who is deeply concerned for her salvation, and to set plainly before her the Gospel of salvation by grace through faith in Christ Jesus, for faith cometh by hearing. The Lord who has begun a good work in your own heart to make you seek for her soul will hear the prayer of faith.

We thank you for bringing your ### before the Lord with such love and concern, and we join you in prayer for her.

We have prayed that God in His mercy would grant her new life in Jesus Christ, that He would open her eyes to see her need for a Savior and draw her to repentance and faith in Him alone. As you said, with Him all things are possible, and we cling to that truth from Matthew 19:26. What seems impossible for us is not impossible for God, who desires to heal those who turn to Him.

Scripture shows us that conversion is possible and that upon repentance we may be saved, not for His need but for our salvation. He has done all things for this very purpose, even giving His Son to be slain and to pour out His blood so that we might have salvation and be made thankful continually. Now is the acceptable time, now is the day of salvation, and we pray that your ###, having been spared from death, would hear this call and not delay.

We pray that the Lord would deliver her from living for the world and bring her to live for Christ, that she would confess Jesus as Lord, receive forgiveness of sins, and walk in newness of life. May He soften her heart, grant her faith, and surround her with faithful witness.

We will continue to remember her in prayer, and we encourage you to keep sharing the hope of the gospel with her gently and faithfully, trusting God to work. May the Lord comfort you as you wait on Him and may He be glorified in her salvation.
