We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for salvation and healing. First and foremost, we must address the foundation of our faith—Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is a gift from God, not something we can earn by our own works, so that no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9). If you or your family have not yet confessed with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, we urge you to do so now, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
We also recognize the plea for forgiveness of sins. The Bible tells us that "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We repent of our sins, knowing that the blood of Jesus Christ, God’s Son, cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7). Let us come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16).
Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear soul and their family before You, asking for Your saving grace to flood their hearts. Lord, we pray that You would open their eyes to see the truth of Your Word and the depth of Your love demonstrated through the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Father, we ask that You would break the chains of sin and unbelief in their lives, drawing them near to You. We pray for a spirit of repentance to fall upon them, that they may turn from their sins and embrace the forgiveness and new life found only in Christ.
Lord, we also ask for healing—spiritual, emotional, and physical. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore and renew. We declare that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Father, pour out Your Holy Spirit upon this family, filling them with Your peace, joy, and the assurance of salvation. May they walk in the light of Your truth, growing in faith and obedience to Your Word.
We rebuke any spirit of doubt, fear, or unbelief that may be hindering their relationship with You, Lord. We command these spirits to flee in the mighty name of Jesus. We also rebuke any generational curses or strongholds that may be affecting this family, declaring that in Christ, they are set free (Galatians 5:1). We pray that they would experience the fullness of life that Jesus came to give (John 10:10), and that their household would be saved, just as You promised (Acts 16:31).
Father, we ask that You would surround this family with godly believers who can encourage and disciple them in their faith. May they find a church home where they can grow in their relationship with You and serve alongside other believers. Lord, we pray for unity in their family, that they would be bound together in love and purpose, seeking Your will above all else.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the promise that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13). We trust in Your goodness and mercy, knowing that You desire all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). May this family experience the transformative power of Your love and grace, and may they walk in the freedom and victory that is theirs in Christ Jesus. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
