Sales

We come before the Lord with a heart to seek His will for your small business. It is good to desire growth and success, but we must first ensure that our motives align with God’s purposes. The Bible tells us in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Success in business is not wrong, but it must never become an idol that replaces our devotion to God.

We also recognize that business should be conducted with integrity, honesty, and fairness. Proverbs 11:1 says, "A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight." Let us pray that your business reflects godly principles in every transaction, customer interaction, and decision.

Father in Heaven, we lift up this small business to You. We ask that You would open doors of opportunity, bring the right customers, and provide the resources needed for growth. Give wisdom to make sound decisions, creativity to stand out in the marketplace, and perseverance to endure challenges. May this business be a testimony to Your provision and faithfulness. Help the owner to trust in You rather than in their own efforts, knowing that it is You who gives the increase. We pray for favor with suppliers, clients, and employees, that all relationships would be marked by fairness and mutual respect.

If there are any areas where the business may be compromising biblical values, such as dishonesty, exploitation, or unethical practices, we rebuke those influences in Jesus’ name. We pray that the business would operate in a way that honors You, bringing glory to Your name.

We also encourage you to seek God’s guidance in how this business can serve His kingdom. Whether through generous giving, fair wages, or using the platform to share the love of Christ, may it be a light in the marketplace. Remember, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men" (Colossians 3:23).

Finally, we remind you that true security is found in Christ alone. If you have not yet placed your faith in Him, we urge you to consider the words of John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." Salvation is found in no other name but Jesus, and it is through Him that we have access to the Father. If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we pray you would do so today. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this need with us. The weight of running a small business can feel deeply personal, when sales slow down, the anxiety touches much more than the bank account. We’re genuinely standing with you in this.

One thing we’ve seen help many Christian business owners is bringing God into the very practical details, not just the “big picture.” Down the years, people like Zig Ziglar and Denis Waitley, who grounded their work in faith, stressed the simple discipline of committing specific goals to writing. Something shifts when we move vague hopes (“I need more sales”) onto paper or a prayer journal, where they become clear targets we can work toward and pray over honestly. You might try writing down a handful of reach-out actions or a weekly sales number, and then each morning ask the Lord to guide your steps and open doors. It doesn’t force God’s hand, but it often lifts the fog and lets us partner with Him more intentionally.

If the slump has been long, small wins can feel like huge steps. Sometimes just reviewing your approach, reconnecting with former clients, asking for honest feedback, or tweaking how you serve people, can reveal fresh direction. But most of all, remember that your worth and security don’t rest on this month’s numbers. We’re praying for favor, for clarity, and for a steadiness that goes beyond the sales report.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this business to You. Give wisdom in every decision, open the right doors, and help this owner work with excellence and peace. In the waiting, quiet anxious thoughts and let them sense Your nearness more than any pressure. We trust You with their provision, knowing You see the need and love them far more than we can. Amen.

You come asking for more sales, but let us consider what it is you truly seek. Is it merely money to fill the coffers, or do you desire success for a higher purpose? If you make your own business God’s business, you will do it well and be useful in your generation. Be about your Father’s business, and even the common tasks of the counter and ledger become sacred service.

Do not despise the day of small things; the small rain, falling steadily, penetrates the tender herb far better than a drenching shower that soon runs off. Pray, then, not for a sudden flood of custom, but for that daily dew of heavenly blessing which makes the heart glad and the hand steady. Diligence, honesty, and a cheerful dependence upon providence are the best attractors of custom. Rise early, be active, watch for opportunities, and do all as unto the Lord.

If your first business is to believe in Jesus and to seek your Father’s glory, the other things will be added. Even the noise of earthly striving cannot achieve what the still small voice of trustful submission will bring. Go now, and let the force and fire of heavenly energy be upon you, that your daily toil may yield not only bread that perishes, but fruit unto eternal life.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You seek more sales for your business, but first consider whether you continually thank God for what you already possess. It is monstrous to enjoy His bounty in deed every day and not so much as in word acknowledge the favor. He needs nothing from us, yet thanksgiving draws us nearer to Him. If our minds warm with love when we recall the kindnesses of men, how much more when we bring to remembrance His noble acts toward us? So begin there: render thanks without ceasing, and you will grow more diligent in His commandments.

Do not imagine that success comes by sleeping. Not even in worldly affairs do we accomplish anything while idle; far less in spiritual things. If Paul said, “If by any means I may attain,” what shall we say? We must labor. Pray earnestly, yes, but also work earnestly. To ask without effort is to mock God. He grants requests to the diligent, not the slothful. You must run, stretch forth, be conformed to His will. There is no promise that indolence will be crowned.

Examine your motives. Are you enlarging the borders of your garment, vainglorious over sales like the Pharisees with their wide phylacteries? God seeks not outward show but the remembrance of His benefits. If you seek wealth to fulfill the lusts of the flesh, to live softly, to indulge beyond necessities, then you make no provision for the body but only light a furnace of wantonness. Provide for your flesh with a view to health, not licentiousness. Use a little wine for the stomach’s sake, as Timothy was told, but do not go beyond necessities. Spend your industry chiefly on spiritual things, and you will not be weighed down by desires that are no better than dreams. The riches of this life often fly away before the day of final account even dawns.

If you would see your business thrive, let your labor be joined to prayer and your profit directed to holy ends. God does not honor those who sleep, but those who, after the pattern of Peter, confess Christ as the Son of God with a faith divinely revealed, not a human opinion. Such a one is blessed. May you obtain remission of sins and the unspeakable blessings in Christ Jesus, with whom to the Father and the Holy Spirit be glory, power, and honor, now and ever, world without end. Amen.

When you ask for more sales, put the whole business under the Lord's ownership before you bring the sales figures. You may feel like a small venture facing larger and better funded competitors, but the battle is not decided by size or resources. It is decided by His presence and your yielded obedience. Before asking for more, give thanks for what He has already provided; what He has done is not a small thing.

Then let Him search the operation. Are the books honest? Are the promises truthful? Are the employees and customers treated with justice?

If any rebellion or stubbornness has entered your methods, confess it and turn from it. God will not bless what contradicts His word. He does not need your support or your sales; you need His supply. Deal firmly in prayer with fear and with the enemy's attempts to rush you into compromise, and give him no place.

Stand on the victory Christ has already won. Ask boldly for daily bread and open doors, but leave the outcome with Him. He can recover what has been lost and provide what is lacking. If He increases your sales, receive it as His provision and use it to honor Him.

Seek His kingdom first, and let the sales be fruit rather than the goal.
