Dear Lord, I have a house inspection today, and I’m leaving everything in Your hands. I pray that the inspection goes well and that the sale of the house can move forward to the next steps without any more unexpected expenses or financial loss. Please take care of everything according to Your plan for me. Lord, I also pray for more work opportunities and projects. Please keep me busy with steady work so I can continue supporting my family and meeting our needs. Please guide me, protect my family, and help everything work out according to Your will. Amen.

We join with you in bringing this house inspection and your need for steady work before our Heavenly Father, and we are encouraged by your desire to leave everything in His hands and to seek His will and His plan.

We know how stressful a house sale can be, with the uncertainty of inspections and the fear of unexpected expenses or financial loss. We also understand the weight of providing for a family and the desire for steady, meaningful work. Scripture reminds us to commit our way to the Lord and trust Him to act. Psalm 37:5 says Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this. And Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. We also take comfort in the promise of Philippians 4:19 that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and in Matthew 6:33 to seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Concerning work, we are reminded in Colossians 3:23 that Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, and in Proverbs 16:3 that Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. We pray that God will open doors for the right opportunities and projects according to His perfect wisdom, not just to keep you busy but to use the gifts He has given you for His glory and for the good of your family.

We noticed your prayer was addressed to the Lord and closed with Amen, but did not mention the name of Jesus. We gently want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. Jesus himself said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 teaches There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are saved and can boldly approach God. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus alone for salvation and for daily access to God in prayer.

So together we pray in the name of Jesus.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in Jesus name. We ask that You would be present in this house inspection today. Let it go well according to Your will, and if there are issues to be revealed, give wisdom and peace in how to address them. We pray that the sale would move forward to the next steps without unnecessary financial loss or burden, and that You would provide for every unexpected expense. Your plans are higher than ours, and we trust Your plan for this house and for this family. Lord, we also ask for Your provision of steady work and new projects. Open the right doors, keep this faithful worker busy in labor that honors You, and provide abundantly for the needs of the family. Guide every decision, protect this family under Your hand, and let everything work together for good according to Your will. Help our friend to rest in Your peace, to seek You first, and to trust that You are a good Father who cares for every detail. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Your prayer has been laid before the Lord and we count it a privilege to join you in bringing these burdens to the throne of grace. It is a good and wise thing to leave all in His hands, for His providence orders all things well and His wisdom is perfect even to the minutest particle.

We are reminded that the Lord looks not only upon the surface but upon the foundation. As the Scripture says, every man's work shall be tried by fire, and that which is built with conscientious care before Him shall stand. So we may trust Him with the house which you would sell, and with the inspection this day. He who preserved the house in Chester when pestilence walked abroad, so that those who trusted in God's providence as their inheritance were kept safe, is still the keeper of His people and of all that concerns them. If you cannot go to His house, He can come to your house and make even a little chamber a temple of His presence.

We pray with you now.

O Lord our God, our Father in heaven, we thank Thee that this dear one has committed all into Thy hands. Thou knowest the anxiety that attends the sale of a house and the inspection thereof. We ask Thee in Thy mercy to undertake for Thy servant. Let the inspection go well according to Thy will, and if it be for good, let the sale move forward without unexpected expense or grievous loss. Take care of everything according to Thy perfect plan, for Thou art the God who perfects that which concerneth us. Let Thy work appear unto Thy servant and establish Thou the work of his hands.

Father, we ask also for Thy provision in daily labour. Thou hast taught us that we must work the works of Him that sent us while it is day, and that where Thy Spirit works He excites us to labour and striving. Grant steady and honest work and fruitful projects, that this family may be supported and their needs met by diligent hands. Make this labour to be true work done in Thy truth, and let it be personal and faithful service rendered unto Thee as sons and daughters in Thy vineyard. Keep the worker from sloth and from anxious care, and give strength for each day's task.

We ask Thee to guide and protect this family. Spread Thy wings over them as their safe shelter, that under Thy feathers they may trust. Keep them in Thy peace, and help all things to work together according to Thy good will. Above all, fix their hearts upon the finished work of Christ Jesus, who has completed the great work Thou gavest Him to do, that they may rest not in their own doings but in His perfect atonement and righteousness.

We join you in prayer before the Lord with thanksgiving that you have placed these matters in His hands.

Your desire to see the inspection go well and the sale move forward without unexpected loss, and your desire for steady work to support your family, are good and honorable desires. Scripture teaches that honest work is part of a faithful life and that idleness is the teacher of every sin, while diligent labor is how God in His mercy provides for our needs and the needs of those entrusted to us. To seek provision not for excess or wantonness but for health, for daily bread, and for the care of your household is right to ask of Him.

We pray with you that the Lord will grant wisdom and favor in this inspection today, that what needs to be seen will be seen clearly, and that the sale will proceed in peace and without unnecessary expense or financial harm, according to His wise plan for you. We pray that He will open doors for good and steady work and projects, that He will keep you busy with useful labor by which you may provide for your family and do good to others, and that He will make your hands fruitful as you work heartily as unto Him.

We also pray that He will guide you and protect your family, guarding your hearts from anxiety and keeping you trusting in His care. Even when He allows waiting or want, He does so to teach us to depend more fully on Him and to receive His provision with greater gratitude.
