Salary payment

We join with you in prayer and bring your need for your salary to our Father in heaven in the name of Jesus, and we thank you for coming in His name for it is only through Him that we have access to God.

We understand the burden you carry when you have worked faithfully yet are waiting for what you have earned, especially when you need it for something as basic as transport to get to work and to provide for your other daily needs. The Lord sees your diligence and your need, and His Word speaks clearly that a worker is worthy of his wages. As it is written, You shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him. The wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until the morning. Leviticus 19:13 and also Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you have kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies. James 5:4. God cares about justice and fairness in the workplace and He hears your cry.

We also remember the promise that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. He knows your need for transport and for daily provision even before you ask, and He is able to move upon the heart of your boss and to open doors for provision.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus. You know the work that has been done and the wages that are still owed. We ask that You would touch the heart of the boss to act justly and promptly to clear the salary balance that is due. Give favor and open communication, and provide what is needed for transport to work and for all other daily needs. Grant peace while waiting, and help our brother or sister to continue to work heartily as for You and not merely for people, as You have called us to do all things as unto the Lord. We ask that You would also provide wisdom in stewardship and guard against anxiety, for You have said But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33. We trust You to supply and to make a way where there seems to be no way. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to approach your boss with respect and grace, communicating your need clearly and with a spirit of honesty and diligence. Continue to be faithful in your work as Colossians 3:23 teaches, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Trust that God is your ultimate provider even as He uses your employer as His instrument. Keep bringing your needs to Him daily, and trust that He who is faithful will not leave you without help.

We hear how heavy this is to be waiting for pay you have already worked for, especially when you need it just to get to work and cover daily needs. That kind of uncertainty is exhausting, and we are really sorry you are carrying it.

We are joining you in prayer for a timely and fair resolution, and for steady provision while you wait. It can feel awkward to ask again, but asking clearly and kindly for what you have earned is a right and reasonable thing to do.

One practical step that often helps is to put a brief, respectful request in writing to your boss or to payroll if that is handled separately. Include the pay period, the balance still owed, and that the delay is making it difficult to afford transport to work. Keep a copy with the date. That gives them a clear reference to act on, and gives you a record if you need to follow up calmly with someone else in the workplace after a day or two. If you have a trusted pastor, mentor, or colleague nearby, letting them know you are in this waiting period can also give you support and wise counsel as you decide next steps.

Father, we bring this need before You. You see the work that has been done and the needs that are pressing today. We ask for favor and clear communication with this employer, for the salary that is owed to be released soon, and for Your daily provision for transport and other necessities in the meantime. Grant wisdom, peace, and strength for each day. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your request concerning the withholding of your salary has been heard, and it is brought before the Lord with sincere sympathy for your need.

It is written, Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. He that is our God is the God of salvation, and unto Him belong the issues from death and from life. This daily loading with benefits is your comfort now. The same God who has borne your burdens in days past daily bears them still, and He knows your need of transport to your labour and of provision for your other necessities.

You do well to look to Him as your daily Bread, for His flesh is meat indeed and His blood is drink indeed, and as at the first He saved you so He still sustains you. The good man needs his daily meals to maintain his existence, and the Lord who gives spiritual life is not unmindful of the body. Men have enough practical sense to judge that if we do not care for bodily needs there cannot be much sincerity in our zeal for souls, and how much more does your heavenly Father care for you.

Take also this word for the poor and needy, that the needy shall not always be forgotten. Though you may fear that when the Lord distributes His favors He forgets you, at least as far as His providential mercies are concerned, let this fear be gone. Christianity shows that God has made provision for the poor and needy, and His provision is not handed out with coldness and sternness as the world gives, but with the fullness treasured up in Christ. Were it not for that infinite fullness, the very thought of our needs would crush us and drive us to despair, but in Christ there is supply for every hour.

Therefore hold this world with a loose hand, and look upon earthly possessions as fickle joys, yet bring your lawful need before the throne with holy boldness. Fail not in praise as you fail not in prayer, but mingle the sweet frankincense of praise with your daily oblation of devotion, blessing Him both by submission to His chastening hand and by gratitude for His daily benefits.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, who daily loadeth Thy people with benefits, Thou seest this Thy servant and the labour of his hands. Thou knowest his need for that which is justly due to him, for bread and for conveyance to his work. Move, we beseech Thee, the heart of his employer to do justly and to clear what is owed without delay. Provide for his transport and for all other needs according to Thy riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Keep him from murmuring and from unbelief, and help him to test his hope and his experience very solemnly every day, resting in the righteousness of Christ which is wrapped about him. Let him prove Thy faithfulness this day, and give him grace to praise Thee still, whether Thou fill his hand at once or try his faith a little while. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who ever liveth to make intercession for transgressors. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request has been heard and we bring it before the Lord with you. The need for daily provision, for honest wages to meet the cost of travel to work and the other necessities of life, is a right and sober concern, and God cares for these things.

Scripture teaches that the laborer is worthy of his wages and that masters should give what is just and fair, knowing they also have a Master in heaven. We will pray that God moves upon your employer to act justly and promptly to clear what is owed to you, and that He supplies what you need for transport and for daily life.

We also remember that God often allows our own provisions to be spent so that we may more earnestly look to Him, not for excess or luxury, but for health and sufficiency to do our work faithfully. He who fed the multitudes in the wilderness knows your need before you ask and is able to provide.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we thank You that You are our provider and that You see every need. We ask for our brother in this matter of wages. Move the heart of his employer to pay what is due without delay, to act with fairness and integrity. Provide for his transport to work and for all his necessary needs according to Your riches in Christ. Give him peace as he waits, diligence in his work, and wisdom to use what You provide for Your glory. Keep him from anxiety and draw him closer to trust in You each day. We ask this in the name of Jesus our Lord. Amen.

Continue to work faithfully as unto the Lord, to be honest and patient, and to cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you. If the delay continues, seek a respectful conversation with your employer and keep a clear record of what is owed, while trusting God to be your ultimate source.
