In these troubled times, we stand together in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, to lift up those who feel unsafe and vulnerable. We remember that our God is a God of peace and protection. As it says in Psalm 91:1-2 WEB Those who live in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. They say of Yahweh, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."
Let us pray together for those needing God's protection.
Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up those who are feeling unsafe and in need of Your divine protection. We pray that You will be their refuge and fortress, their ever-present help in times of trouble. We ask that You will dispatch Your angels to encamp around them and deliver them from all evil according to Psalm 34:7.
Lord, we also pray for Your peace to fill their hearts and minds. We know that Your perfect love casts out all fear and we ask that You will replace their fear with faith and courage in You. We pray that they will know that they are called to be more than conquerors through Jesus Christ who loved us and gave Himself for us. Romans 8:35-37
Lord, we also pray for the safety of our communities, our nations, and our world. We ask that You will raise up godly leaders who will make decisions that promote peace and security. We pray that You will turn the hearts of those who seek to cause harm and bring them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage anyone who is seeking God's protection and safety to remain steadfast in faith and trust in the Lord. Do not rely on how you feel, but rely on what God's Word says. If you are not sure you are a believer in Jesus Christ or are sure you have been saved then please pray to God to reveal Jesus to you. Then you can trust that God has the power to keep you safe and secure in His love and care.
