Safety of travel

Disciple of Prayer
May God grant us a safe travel to ### tonight so we can comeback to our family. May God take away my anxiety and fear for it is my 1st time to travel internationally. May we always be safe and healthy through out our stay there. Thank you God! Amen

We join with you in lifting up this journey to our Heavenly Father, knowing that He is the one who watches over our coming and going, both now and forevermore. It is wonderful to see your trust in God’s protection, and we echo your prayers for safety, peace, and good health as you travel. However, we must gently but firmly remind you that our prayers are only heard and answered because of the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is through Him alone that we boldly approach the throne of grace. The scriptures tell us in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in Acts 4:12, we read, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* So, we must always pray in the name of Jesus, giving Him the glory and honor due to His name.

We also notice the anxiety and fear you are experiencing as this is your first international trip. The Word of God speaks directly to this in Philippians 4:6-7: *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* And again in 2 Timothy 1:7, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* Your fear is not from God, so we rebuke it in the name of Jesus, commanding it to leave you now. You are covered by the blood of Jesus, and He has not given you a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind.

As for your travels, we are reminded of Psalm 121, which assures us that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. *"He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. Yahweh is your keeper. Yahweh is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will preserve your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more."* What a mighty promise! He is faithful to guard you every step of the way.

We also pray for your health during this trip. The Lord is your healer, and we trust in His promise from Psalm 91:9-10: *"Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling."* We declare this over you and your companions, that the Lord will shield you from sickness and harm, and that you will return home safely to your family, full of joy and gratitude for His faithfulness.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your promise to hear us when we pray in His name, and we lift up this journey to You, trusting in Your sovereign care. Lord, we ask that You surround this traveler and their companions with Your angels, encamping around them as they go out and as they return. Protect them from every danger seen and unseen—from accidents, from illness, from harm, and from the schemes of the enemy. Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear and anxiety in the name of Jesus, and we declare that Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Lord, we pray for divine favor over this trip. May every connection be smooth, every document in order, and every step directed by You. Give them wisdom in all their decisions and grace in every interaction. Keep them healthy and strong, and let this journey be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness. May they return home safely, with hearts overflowing with praise for Your protection and provision.

We also pray that this time away will draw them closer to You, Lord. Open their eyes to see Your hand at work in every detail, and may they encounter Your presence in new and powerful ways. If there are divine appointments or opportunities to share Your love along the way, give them the courage and words to speak boldly for Your glory.

Father, we commit this entire journey into Your hands, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun. Thank You for Your promises, which never fail. Thank You for Your peace, which guards us. And Thank You for Your love, which never lets us go. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord throughout this trip. Spend time in His Word, in prayer, and in worship, even as you travel. Let this be a time of drawing near to Him, trusting that He is with you every step of the way. And when fears or anxieties arise, speak the Word of God over yourself and remind the enemy of the promises of your Father. You are not alone—He goes before you, He stands beside you, and He will bring you safely home. Trust in Him, and He will never fail you. Godspeed, and may the Lord bless you abundantly!

We're right there with you, dear friend, as you embark on this international journey. We've been praying for your safety and peace, and we want you to know that God is with you every step of the way. We're reminded of Psalm 34:7, "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them." Trust that God's angels are encamped around you, protecting and guiding you.

We also want to encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus. He said in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your soul." Let His love and peace fill your heart, dispelling any anxiety or fear.

As you travel, remember that God is your constant companion. He promises in Isaiah 43:2, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you." Trust in His unfailing love and care.

We're here praying for you, and we can't wait to hear about your safe return. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and trust in His love and care. You are never alone. Godspeed!

"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

We have been lifting you and your family up in prayer over these past days, trusting that the Lord would surround you with His peace and protection as you embarked on this new journey. What a blessing it has been to stand with you before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to calm your fears, guard your steps, and keep you safe in His loving care. His Word assures us that He is faithful, and we believe He has been with you every mile of the way—covering you in travel, filling you with courage, and sustaining your health as only He can.

Now that some time has passed since your request, we’d love to hear how the Lord has moved in your situation. Did He replace your anxiety with His perfect peace as you traveled? Were you able to feel His presence guiding you through each part of your trip? If God has answered your prayer—whether by granting safe travels, easing your fears, or providing for you in unexpected ways—we’d be so encouraged if you’d share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the very thing someone else needs to trust Him more fully in their own journey.

If this season of travel is still weighing on your heart or if new concerns have arisen, we want you to know we’re still here, ready to keep praying with you. You don’t have to carry these burdens alone—we’d be honored to continue lifting you up, asking the Lord to strengthen and protect you each day. His mercies are new every morning, and we trust He will remain faithful to you and your family.

Wherever this trip has taken you—physically or spiritually—we pray you’ve seen glimpses of His goodness along the way. May He continue to remind you that you are never out of His sight, never beyond His reach. As you seek Him, may His love surround you like a shield, and may you return home with a heart overflowing with gratitude for His provision.

We’re still cheering you on in prayer, believing that God is at work in ways you may not even see yet. Keep trusting Him, friend—He who calls you by name is the same God who holds the whole world in His hands. In Jesus Name.
