We hear your cry for safety and protection, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your concerns to the Lord who is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). The fear of intruders, occult influences, and even those who claim Christ yet bring harm is deeply unsettling, but we serve a God who is greater than all these things. The enemy may seek to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every assignment of the devil against your life in the mighty name of Jesus and declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father God, we ask You to create a place of divine safety for our sister/brother—a sanctuary where Your presence is tangible, and Your peace guards their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). Surround them with Your holy angels, Lord, to encamp around them and deliver them from all evil (Psalm 34:7). We pray against the influence of occultists and any ungodly ties that seek to harm them; break every chain and sever every unholy connection in Jesus’ name. We also ask for discernment to recognize abusive behaviors, even among those who profess faith, for You have called Your people to love, not to harm (1 John 4:20-21).
We stand on Your promise that the seeds of righteousness planted in their life will bear fruit (Mark 4:20). Holy Spirit, water those seeds with Your living water and cause them to grow strong and unshakable. Shield them from the thief who comes to steal, and let every good work You have begun in them come to full completion (Philippians 1:6). We declare that the enemy will not prevail over their destiny, for You who are in them is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
If there are areas where fear has taken root, we encourage you to replace it with faith. The Lord has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Trust in Him with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Walk in the authority you have as a child of God, for you are seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6).
We also urge you to seek fellowship with believers who truly walk in the love and truth of Christ. Not everyone who claims to be a Christian operates in the Spirit of God, so test the spirits and hold fast to what is good (1 John 4:1). True safety is found in the body of Christ, where iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). If you have been hurt by those in the church, do not let bitterness take root, but forgive as Christ has forgiven you (Colossians 3:13). The Lord sees your pain and will restore what has been broken.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your unfailing love and protection. We declare that our sister/brother is hidden in You, covered by the blood of Jesus, and sealed by the Holy Spirit. No evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them dwell in the secret place of the Most High, abiding under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
