We join you in lifting this heavy burden to the Lord, knowing that He hears the cries of His children and is a God of justice, peace, and deliverance. Your plea for protection and freedom from this oppressive situation is deeply felt, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who alone has the power to break every chain of bondage and bring restoration.

First, we commend you for calling upon the name of Jesus, for it is written, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is only through Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His authority that we can rebuke the enemy and command peace over your home. Your faith in invoking His name is a testament to your trust in Him, and we encourage you to continue to cling to Jesus in this season, for He is your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).

We also recognize the deep pain and betrayal you have endured through the unfaithfulness and abandonment of your former spouse. The Word of God is clear about the sanctity of marriage and the devastation that sin brings when it is violated. *"Whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and he who marries her when she is divorced commits adultery"* (Matthew 19:9, WEB). While divorce is a painful reality in this broken world, we see that your former spouse has chosen a path of rebellion, hardening his heart against both you and the Lord. His actions—his adultery, his addiction to alcohol, his disregard for your health, and his refusal to depart peacefully—are not only harmful to you but are in direct opposition to God’s design for holiness and love.

Yet even in this, we are called to forgive, not because his actions are excusable, but because Christ has forgiven us. *"Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you"* (Colossians 3:13, WEB). Forgiveness does not mean tolerating sin or allowing this man to remain in your home to continue his destructive behavior. Rather, it is releasing the bitterness and anger to the Lord, trusting Him to bring justice and vindication in His timing. You have every right to seek peace and safety, and it is biblical to set boundaries that protect you from further harm.

The Lord sees your suffering, and He is not indifferent. The psalmist declares, *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Your plea for this man to leave in peace is just, and we join you in praying that the Lord would remove him from your home and surroundings completely. May the Lord rebuke every scheme of the enemy that seeks to keep him there, and may his heart be turned away from your dwelling so that you may experience the rest and security that God intends for you.

We also pray for his soul, for though his actions are grievous, the Lord desires that none should perish but that all would come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9, WEB). May the Holy Spirit convict him of his sin, his addiction, and his rebellion, and may he turn to Christ for salvation. But even as we pray for his redemption, we ask the Lord to sever every ungodly tie and to command him to depart from your life without delay. The Lord is able to bind the works of darkness and to silence every voice that seeks to bring confusion or harm. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says the Lord"* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).

As for the woman he has chosen to bind himself to, we pray that the Lord would deal with their union according to His will. If they are not married in the sight of God, may their relationship be exposed for what it is—built on deception and sin. If they have entered into a marriage, we pray that the Lord would bring conviction and repentance, for *"God is not mocked. Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap"* (Galatians 6:7, WEB). But our primary prayer is for your freedom and protection, that the Lord would place a hedge around you and your home, and that you would dwell in safety under His wings.

We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord’s face in this season. Surround yourself with believers who can support you in prayer and accountability. If you have not already, we urge you to seek godly counsel from your pastor or a trusted Christian leader who can walk with you through this process. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2, WEB), and you do not have to face this alone.

Lastly, we want to remind you of the hope that is yours in Christ. Though this season is painful, the Lord is refining you, and He will restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25, WEB). Your worth is not found in this man’s rejection of you, but in the unchanging love of your Heavenly Father, who calls you His beloved. *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope"* (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is crying out to You for deliverance and peace. Lord, You are a God who sees the affliction of Your people, and You are mighty to save. We ask that You would rise up on her behalf and command that this man be removed from her home and her life completely. Break every ungodly tie, Lord, and sever every connection that seeks to keep him bound to her dwelling. Let no weapon formed against her prosper, and silence every voice that seeks to bring confusion or harm.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of addiction that has taken hold of this man. Break the power of alcohol over his life, and let him be confronted with the reality of his sin. Convict him, Lord, and turn his heart toward repentance. But even as we pray for his soul, we ask that You would not allow him to remain in her home for one more day than necessary. Command him to depart in peace, Lord, and let there be no delay. Let every door that has been opened to the enemy in her home be shut permanently, and let Your holy angels encamp around her, guarding her in all her ways.

Lord, we pray for healing over the wounds of betrayal and abandonment. Comfort her with Your love, and let her find her identity and worth in You alone. Restore to her the joy of Your salvation, and let her dwell in the secret place of the Most High, where no harm can reach her. Give her wisdom, Father, to know the steps to take to ensure her safety and well-being. Provide for her every need, and let her trust in You completely.

We also pray for the woman this man has chosen over You and over his covenant. Expose their sin, Lord, and let them reap what they have sown unless they turn to You in true repentance. Do not let their rebellion go unchecked, but let Your hand be heavy upon them until they acknowledge their wrongdoing.

Father, we thank You that You are a God of justice and mercy. We trust that You will bring vindication for our sister and that You will restore to her double for her trouble. Let her home be a place of peace once more, and let her sleep be sweet and undisturbed. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, You shall condemn.

We commit this situation into Your hands, Lord, trusting that You will act swiftly and decisively. Let Your will be done in this matter, and let Your name be glorified. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen and amen.
