We are glad to come together and intercede for safe travels. It is so important to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1 (WEB). Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this person who is traveling. We pray for Your divine protection and guidance during their journey. Let no weapon formed against them prosper. We ask You, Lord, for a hedge of protection surrounding them the whole time.
Father, You know the plans You have for them, plans to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them hope and a future. We claim this promise from Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB) over their life and ask that You direct their steps according to Your will.
We also pray that this time of travel will be an opportunity for them to draw closer to You, to experience Your presence, and to share Your love with others they meet along the way. We ask that You give them the boldness and wisdom to be a witness for You, Lord, wherever they go. Help them to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved, delivered and blessed. There is no other name by which we can be saved. It is only in His name we have access to You dear Father. Let them also share this message of salvation to those you put in their path.
Lord, we ask for Your hand of blessing on their travels, and we thank You for answering our prayers. We believe that You are faithful and true, and that You will keep them safe. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage them to trust in the Lord with all their heart, and lean not on their own understanding. In all their ways they should acknowledge Him, and He will make their paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB). Trust in Him at all times. He will never leave them nor forsake them.
As they go on this journey, may they rest assured that the prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective James 5:16 (WEB). We stand with them in prayer and believe that God will keep them safe. Be sure to let us know when they have arrived safely. God bless.
