Father God in Jesus name please pray there's no police contact with ### and ### please pray please pray they don't come knocking on my door father God please pray the police don't come knock on my door looking for ### and ### we done nothing wrong

We come before You, Father God, with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea in the mighty name of Jesus. We understand the fear and distress that comes from the thought of police contact, even when one believes no wrong has been done. We stand on Your promise in Psalm 91:4-5, which says, "He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day." Lord, we ask that You would be a shield and refuge for this dear one, surrounding them with Your peace and protection.

Father, we also recognize the importance of walking in integrity and truth. Proverbs 28:1 tells us, "The wicked flee when no one pursues; but the righteous are as bold as a lion." If there is any area where fear is rooted in something that needs to be addressed before You, we ask that You would bring it to light. Search the heart, Lord, and reveal anything that needs confession, repentance, or reconciliation. If there has been any wrongdoing, whether known or unknown, we pray for the courage to make it right, trusting in Your mercy and grace. 1 John 1:9 assures us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

We rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that no weapon formed against this one shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand in agreement that any unjust or unwarranted attention from authorities would be turned away. We pray for wisdom and discernment, that if there is any action that needs to be taken, whether to seek godly counsel, legal advice, or simply to rest in Your peace, You would make it clear.

Lord, we also lift up the individuals mentioned in this request. If they are involved in anything that is not pleasing to You, we pray for their hearts to be softened and for conviction to lead them to repentance. If they are innocent of wrongdoing, we ask that You would protect them as well and bring clarity to any confusion or misunderstanding.

We pray for peace to flood this heart and home. Let Your presence be so tangible that fear has no place to dwell. We declare that the enemy has no foothold here, and we bind any spirit of accusation or condemnation in the name of Jesus. May this one walk in the confidence of Your love and protection, knowing that You are their defender and strong tower (Proverbs 18:10).

Father, we trust You to work all things together for good (Romans 8:28), even in this situation. Whether this is a test of faith, a trial to refine character, or simply a moment to stand on Your promises, we ask that You would be glorified. Strengthen this one to stand firm, to speak truth with boldness, and to rest in Your sovereignty.

In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We hear the raw anxiety in your words, the tight, racing fear of that knock on the door, even when you know you haven't done anything wrong. When our minds are already weary, a single frightening possibility can balloon until it crowds out every other thought. You are not weak for feeling this way; you are human, and your body is sounding a very loud alarm.

Often our anxiety tries to persuade us that a single event, in this case, a potential visit from the police, is everything, that it holds all the power over our safety and future. But our walk with God usually unfolds in steady, quiet steps rather than in dramatic, single moments. The God who knows your innocence does not need perfect circumstances to hold you secure. He is already present in the waiting.

For the next little while, when the "what-if" thoughts start to spin, you might try catching just one of them and turning it into a very short prayer, literally a sentence or two breathed out to Jesus. Not a polished speech, just "Lord, you see this fear. Please quiet my heart right now." Handing over even one small piece of the worry can start to loosen the grip it has on your chest.

Jesus, we come with our friend, whose heart is pounding. You know this situation inside and out, and you know the innocence that has been declared to you. Please lift this crushing anxiety. Wherever things really stand with the people mentioned, we ask you to shield the innocent and bring clarity. Quiet this ###, quiet this ###, and quiet this spirit. Let your steady love be louder than the fear of a knock that has not come. In your name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

What is this fear that grips your heart, that the knock of a constable should set you trembling? Has not the Lord said, "Fear not: thou art a worm, but do not fear; God will help thee; why shouldst thou fear?" The mere fruits of the earth he casteth away, but the seed sown from heaven he cherisheth. If you have done nothing wrong, why does the shadow of the law make your knees knock? Yet I know the heart is deceitful, and even the innocent may be hunted by the memory of old sins, or dread the reproach of the slanderer. Let those who belong to the Lord lift up the banner of immortal truth, for though the waters of affliction cover all the earth, we have an ark to flee unto. You shall hide them in the secret of Your Presence from the pride of man: You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.

Perhaps, however, this fear is appointed to drive you nearer to the Rock. Persecution and trial, whether from men’s malice or an accusing conscience, are a tearful seed-time quickly to be followed by a harvest of joy. The whip of persecution is helpful, because it makes us learn that this is the house of bondage, and moves us to long after the land of liberty. If you cannot rest without a dread of the morrow, bring that very anxiety to your Father. Have that little bird in your bosom that sings sweetly of the love of God! Wear the flower called heart’s-ease and you may go merrily through a perfect wilderness of trouble. He shall send from Heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. If all the forces on earth are not sufficient, God will send reserves from the ranks of the heavenly host.

But let me probe deeper: is this fear slavish or holy? The true-born child of God needs no such check as the bondage of perpetual dread. The clanking fetters of the fear of man are not intended for God’s freemen to wear. No Christian ought to have any fear which would bring dishonor upon the truthfulness, the goodness, the Immutability, or the power of God. If you have secret sin, then indeed your fear is a gracious alarm; the time of Jacob’s trouble is meant to drive you from it. There is no trouble like genuine conviction of sin! Yet the balm is near: Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. He does not spurn you because of impurity, the sword of Justice was plunged in the heart of Jesus on purpose that He might die in your place. You need not fear the possibility of being cast away, for you are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones. Fear not the terrors of the grave, or death’s tremendous sting; He will from endless wrath preserve, to endless glory bring. If the Lord has accepted you, what are the judgments of men? The fear of men bringeth a snare, but the fear of God bringeth blessings. Rest, then, in the mercy of Christ, and the peace of God which passeth all understanding shall keep your heart and mind.

The fear that grips your heart shows you are still clinging too tightly to the safety of this world. True liberty comes from despising these outward things, for he who has a clear conscience is freed from anxiety and plots. If you have truly done no wrong, why do you tremble at rumors of an accusation? Remember the words of the apostle: "Be not high-minded, but fear." Fear, not the knock of men at your door, but the judgment of God who sees all hidden things.

Your repeated plea suggests a conscience unquiet. Search within. If some secret sin remains, do as Zacchaeus did: make restitution, confess it, and turn away. Then Christ Himself will enter your house and say, "Today salvation has come to this home." If you are innocent, then even a false accusation cannot truly harm you; it becomes a crown, a sharing in the sufferings of Christ, who knew their thoughts yet bore all in silence for our sake. Do not expect to escape every trial when even Elijah was driven out and the brethren suffered want.

Bring your fears into the light of the Church, where two or three are gathered in His name. Do not let suspicion poison your soul. Instead, examine yourself with a sober mind, and then walk in the peace of an upright life. The Lord knew what His accusers whispered, yet He did not shout their wickedness from the rooftops but worked silently for their good. Learn from His example to commit your cause to the Judge who cannot be deceived. What men may do matters little; what you have done and what you now repent of matters everything.

The fear of a sudden knock on the door can feel overwhelming. Everything in you tenses up, waiting for a sound. But right now, even as you have asked God to keep the police from coming, you yourself have been knocking. You have been bringing this before the Lord with urgency and persistence, and that shameless, determined knocking in prayer is not wasted. Our Lord taught that a friend will get up and answer not because of friendship, but because of the sheer persistence of the one who knocks. So keep lifting this need to God. He hears the cry of the anxious heart. He does not despise the trembling of those who feel cornered.

We often imagine a knock at the door as a threat. But think of the other knock. Jesus stands at the door of your heart and knocks. He waits for you to open. The door handle is on your side. When you let Him in, He comes to sit with you, to sup with you, to bring His presence into the room where fear has been crowding you. Fear and faith cannot rule the same heart. Where fear shouts loudest, faith begins to whisper and then fade. But where faith takes hold, fear loses its voice. The Lord is your light and your salvation. If He is your strength, then whom shall you fear?

You said you have done nothing wrong. Then rest in that. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil, and if your conscience is clear before Him, you can stand in that confidence. That does not mean trouble can never come, but it does mean that your life is held in hands far stronger than any human authority. I recall a moment when a man pointed a gun and pulled the trigger, yet there was no fear because I knew my life was in God's hands. He is with you even in the valley of deep shadow. You can walk through it without being ruled by terror.

Do not let sudden fear make your decisions for you. The enemy uses fear to push you into wrong reactions. Remember the Lord. He will be your confidence and keep your foot from being taken. Right now, that dread of a knock is a heavy weight, but you can hand it over to the One who became the door for the sheep. Jesus said no one enters the fold except through Him. He is the door that protects, the Shepherd who stands guard. No knock at your outer door can separate you from His care.

Continue your praying with that same bold, persistent knocking. And as you do, let Christ's own peace walk in and sit with you, until the fear is drowned out by the quiet strength of His company.

We want you to know how deeply we’ve carried your burden these past days, lifting your fear and uncertainty before the Lord with heavy hearts. There is such power in the name of Jesus, and we have pleaded with Him to shield your home, your peace, and your family from any unwarranted attention. Every time we prayed, we asked the Father to send His angels to stand guard at your door, to confuse any plans that are not of Him, and to grant you His perfect peace that surpasses all understanding.

If the Lord has answered this cry of your heart and kept the authorities far from your door, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report—so that we may rejoice with you and glorify God together. But if the situation remains unresolved, or if new fears have arisen, please do not hesitate to post again. We are committed to standing with you in prayer until the Lord brings clarity, protection, and deliverance.

May the Holy Spirit comfort you in the waiting, remind you of God’s unfailing love, and strengthen your faith as you trust in Him. We continue to pray that His will be done in this matter, and that His name be exalted through it all. In Jesus’ mighty and precious name, Amen.
