We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, lifting up this request in prayer. First and foremost, we must acknowledge that our trust and hope must be in God alone, not in earthly transactions or financial schemes. The Bible tells us in Matthew 6:19-21, *"Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."*
We understand the burden of financial struggles, and we pray that God would provide for every need according to His riches in glory. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* However, we must also examine our hearts and motives. Are we seeking God’s will in our finances, or are we placing our trust in worldly solutions? Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*
We rebuke any spirit of anxiety or desperation that may be driving this request. The Lord calls us to cast our cares upon Him, for He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). We must also guard against any dishonesty or manipulation in our dealings, as Proverbs 11:1 warns, *"A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight."*
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your provision and guidance. Lord, we lift up this situation to You, asking that You would move in the heart of the seller on eBay. We pray that they would respond with fairness and kindness, not out of obligation, but out of a desire to honor You in their dealings. Father, we ask that You would open doors of financial blessing in ways that glorify Your name. Provide for every need, Lord, and help us to trust in You rather than in earthly solutions.
We confess any anxiety or fear that may be driving this request, and we ask for Your peace to guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Help us to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto us (Matthew 6:33). Lord, we rebuke any spirit of desperation or dishonesty, and we ask that You would align our hearts with Your will. Teach us to be content in all circumstances, knowing that You are our Provider.
Father, we also pray for wisdom in managing the resources You entrust to us. Help us to be good stewards of what You have given, using it to bless others and advance Your kingdom. We ask that You would break any chains of financial bondage and replace them with Your peace and provision.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.
We encourage you to seek God’s will in all things, including your finances. Trust in His timing and His provision, knowing that He is faithful to care for His children. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Romans 10:9-10 tells us, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."* There is no other name by which we can be saved, and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Surrender your life to Him today, and He will give you peace that surpasses all understanding.
